Boracay combines White Beach’s lively visitor setting with a quieter northern coastline. Our selected hotel is Shangri-La Boracay on that northern coast. Choose this resort when its beaches should be central to the holiday, with White Beach explored as an outing rather than the address outside your room.

Shangri-La Boracay occupies a northern coastal setting associated with Punta Bunga and Banyugan beaches. This is the actual hotel base for our selection. Choose it when you want the resort’s own coastline to be a substantial part of the stay, with other beaches visited separately.
White Beach offers another view of island life, with walks along the shore and time outside the resort. Visit it when that livelier setting appeals, rather than assuming a northern hotel gives you the same daily surroundings as a White Beach address.
Plan how much time you want there before arranging the rest of the day. A beach walk and a meal can be the outing’s purpose; you do not have to combine it with every other shore on the island. The station references below help identify parts of White Beach without changing the location of your hotel.
A boat outing can provide another perspective on Boracay and its surrounding coastline. Choose one for the experience you want, whether that is time on the water or a guided encounter with marine surroundings, rather than simply accumulating stops. Let local operators match the route to conditions and the group's experience; a photograph of calm water is not a plan for every day.
Our Philippines guide provides the wider country context.
It lies toward the northern tip of Boracay, separate from White Beach. It can offer a different setting for an outing when you want to explore beyond your hotel's shore. Choose the visit around local conditions, without assuming that every beach has identical swimming conditions or facilities.
Bulabog is associated with windsurfing and kitesurfing, giving it a different focus from a leisurely White Beach walk. Choose instruction and an activity suited to your experience. Wind is part of the attraction for these sports, rather than a guarantee of the same conditions throughout the year.
They refer to seasonal monsoon patterns, with winds coming from different directions. Use them to understand why the feel of a coastline can change, rather than as a promise of exact weather on your dates. Keep outdoor plans adaptable and use current local advice for activities.
Coordinate the onward journey to your particular hotel before you arrive. The airport name alone does not complete the arrival plan. Give the hotel your actual travel details and establish the arrangements you intend to use, without relying on an old account of another traveler's transfer.
The stations are location references along White Beach. Use them to identify the stretch of shore or meeting point you want for an outing. They describe parts of that beach, while Shangri-La’s northern coastal setting remains a separate hotel base.
