The estate covers 38 acres, with several gardens that reward a walk around the house. In front of the hall, the Rill Garden sets a formal water feature among grasses and perennials. The Japanese Garden has two ponds linked by a winding stream, with irregular stepping stones, ferns, bamboo, and maples. Lady Jane Furness designed it in 1910, using stone from nearby Brimham Rocks.

The Rose Garden holds more than 100 rose varieties, while the Kitchen Garden grows herbs, vegetables, and fruit for the restaurant. The river threads through the grounds, with small waterfalls along its course and terraces looking down toward the water.

There are 47 rooms and suites. Cosy Rooms occupy the Main Hall and average 35 square meters; Deluxe and Executive Rooms average 38 and 42 square meters respectively. Junior Suites average 58 square meters, as do Grand Suites, whose seating areas, feature fireplaces, and formal-garden views give them their own character.

Superior Suites are reached through a rooftop atrium in the Fountains Wing and average 78 square meters, with dining and seating areas. The 82-square-meter Signature Suite is in the Main Hall and has a walk-in dressing room.

The Royal Suite spans two floors, with an emperor bed on a mezzanine above a double-height living and dining area. Its bath overlooks the Rill Gardens. The Presidential Suite measures 128 square meters and includes a baby grand piano, private bar, and dining area. Accessible Rooms have roll-in showers.

Grantley Hall welcomes overnight guests from age eight. A limited number of interconnecting rooms and suites can be arranged, subject to availability. Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall and Bar & Restaurant EightyEight accept diners aged 12 and older; Fletchers welcomes children from eight with their parents. The hotel's spa and gym have higher age limits, so an overnight stay does not give younger guests access to those facilities.

Chef Patron Shaun Rankin leads the hotel's one-Michelin-star restaurant. His Taste of Home menu draws on his Yorkshire upbringing, using ingredients from the Kitchen Garden alongside produce from local farms and suppliers. East Coast seafood, regional meat, and specialty cheeses connect the cooking to the county.

Wine pairings accompany the tasting menu, and a nonalcoholic pairing is made in the restaurant, including ingredients grown on the estate. For a private dinner, the Kitchen Table seats up to six within the working kitchen, with dishes served by the chefs. This brings the preparation into view, while the main restaurant offers the more formal dining-room setting. Dinner reservations are required.

Fletchers retains the oak paneling and historic fireplaces of the hall. Its British and European menu uses Yorkshire farm produce, North East seafood, and local cheeses. Breakfast for residents is served here, followed by lunch and dinner, with a Sunday lunch menu adding another country-house tradition.

Bar & Restaurant EightyEight faces the ornamental Japanese Garden. Yorkshire ingredients meet Asian flavors in a contemporary interior, with both an à la carte selection and an eight-course tasting menu. Cocktails accompany the cooking, and the upper level looks over the garden. Its setting takes guests away from the hall's paneled dining rooms into the Garden Pavilion, where the garden forms the backdrop to dinner.

Afternoon tea is served in the Drawing Room, with sandwiches, scones, and pastries made by the hotel's pastry team. The selection changes with the seasons. Private afternoon tea can also be arranged in Fletchers' Brook Room for six to ten guests or Parklands for up to 20, giving a family gathering its own table and room.

Norton Bar occupies the former library, retaining its original oak paneling. Cocktails, Champagne, and whisky are served inside, while the courtyard opens toward the River Skell. In spring and summer, the courtyard serves British dishes from Fletchers. Antique books conceal a cocktail list organized around drinks from the past century, a detail that connects the bar to the room's former use.

The Orchard combines indoor and outdoor dining with menus that change through the seasons. Valeria's Champagne & Cocktail Bar is on the lower ground floor of the Garden Pavilion, beside EightyEight, with live music on selected evenings. Its regular bar service is for guests 18 and older. Beyond the hotel, the Grantley Arms in Grantley village serves seasonal Yorkshire pub cooking and welcomes children of all ages.

An 18-meter indoor pool sits beneath pillars and archways, watched over by a marble statue of the Three Graces. The hydrotherapy pool extends from indoors into the open air, with water jets and a bubble bench facing the gardens. An outdoor hot tub, indoor sauna, steam room, and snow room complete the bathing spaces. The Nordic Spa Garden adds two ice baths and an outdoor sauna.

Treatments include body rituals and hand and foot care. The Spa Lounge serves lunch, drinks, and cream tea, with seating on a south-facing terrace. Swimming pools, thermal areas, specialist treatments, and gym access are reserved for guests 18 and older. Hotel residents aged 16 and above may use the Spa Lounge. A pool hoist and wheelchair-accessible treatment rooms support guests with mobility requirements.

ELITE has a main gym for cardio and resistance training, plus a Strength & Conditioning Studio with a power rack, weights, and a ten-meter indoor track. Personal trainers work with hotel guests, and specialist appointments include an underwater treadmill, whole-body cryotherapy, and body-composition analysis. These services are coordinated through the ELITE team. The studio's open training space accommodates functional exercise alongside the machines in the main gym, with sessions available for guests aged 18 and older.

Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal are nearby, combining medieval abbey ruins with a water garden and deer park within a World Heritage Site. Ripon provides a cathedral and market-town streets, while Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales lie farther afield.

Leeds Bradford is the nearest airport, around 22 miles away. Chauffeured transfers can be arranged from airports and stations, including Harrogate, Thirsk, and York. The hotel lies on the B6265 between Ripon and Pateley Bridge, about a 15-minute drive from the A1(M), depending on traffic. Valet parking and electric-vehicle charging are available, and the estate has a helipad for prearranged arrivals.
