Garden paths run between the resort's bungalow buildings, with palms and flowering plants softening the setting. The grounds lead toward the beach and pier. This planted landscape offers a contrast to the exposed terrain beyond the hotel.

Room choice starts with the outlook: gardens or oceanfront. There are king and two-bed configurations, including an accessible garden-view king room. Terrace suites come with garden or oceanfront views, as do Solarium suites. Their living areas make them worth considering when a place to sit apart from the bed matters.

Bamboo wall coverings and patterned textiles reference the area's cultural history, giving the interiors details to notice beyond the view. Furnished terraces extend the rooms outside, while bathrooms include tubs and rainfall showers. Beds are dressed in linen with a 400-thread count.

The Plunge Pool Suite occupies the second floor and has its own small pool. Its outlook takes in the family pool and resort activity, with the ocean beyond.

The Main Pool sits near Ballestas Restaurant, with loungers and cabanas that can be rented separately. Koni Family Pool is on the southern side, close to the playground and beach. Koni Camp adds indoor and outdoor activities, including crafts and treasure hunts. Children under six need an accompanying adult throughout.

Aqu Spa covers 547 square meters and provides beauty treatments and wellness rituals by appointment. A whirlpool adds another bathing option at the resort. The fitness center has machines, weights, and a stretching area.

The spa's thermal circuit uses water at different temperatures and pressures, placing bathing alongside its hands-on treatments. Facials sit beside body therapies that use grapes, chocolate, or gold. Grapes give the treatment menu a connection to the agricultural landscape of this part of Peru. The emphasis on skin care has a particular relevance at a resort where so much of the day is spent outdoors.

Total Paracas is the house massage that brings together five methods: reflexology, Swedish massage, deep-tissue work, Thai stretching, and shiatsu. Lomi Lomi takes another approach, using long movements made with the hands and forearms. Hot-stone treatments use Yucamani stones. The distinction is in the technique: Total Paracas incorporates stretching, while Lomi Lomi emphasizes a flowing sequence of long strokes.

Ballestas Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with seating inside and outside overlooking the bay. Peruvian cooking shares the menu with international influences. Dishes such as ceviche and gnocchi illustrate that range, without making seafood the only reason to eat here. La Trattoria takes an Italian direction, with pizza and pasta providing a different choice during a longer stay.

At Ballestas, the Travesía Marina tasting menu follows the fishing grounds of Peru's central coast. Each course takes its cue from the area where its main ingredient is gathered, with the kitchen or dining-room team explaining the connection. Scallops prepared pil pil begin the sequence, followed by fish tiradito and braised octopus. The octopus is paired with zarandaja bean puree, pepper chimichurri, caper butter, and pickled shallot.

A seafood rice course brings together cabrilla fish, Paracas scallops, octopus, clams, and crab with Peruvian peppers and leche de tigre. An algae crisp with lemon sorbet provides the finish, and a wine-pairing option accompanies the menu. Chalana's own approach centers on the day's catch, sourced directly from artisanal fishers. That relationship gives the pier restaurant a close connection to the bay's working life, while the tasting menu makes a more structured occasion of coastal ingredients.

Chalana Restaurant puts seafood beside the water on the hotel's private dock. It makes the pier a dining destination as well as a point of departure. For drinks, Bar Lounge sits near the Main Pool, with indoor and outdoor seating and snacks. Zarcillo brings pisco into the cocktail selection.

Kayaks, paddleboards, and catamarans give guests ways to explore the bay without taking an island excursion. Activities depend on weather and availability, and nautical sports are restricted for children five and younger.

The hotel also arranges outings aboard Rayador, a boat for ten passengers with a sun deck at the bow. Its smaller capacity offers an alternative to a larger group excursion, and trips can include a stop for a swim. A private yacht accommodates up to twelve for half-day or full-day outings, with drinks and snacks aboard. These are different ways to experience the bay, with the vessel and length of the outing shaping how much time is spent at sea.

Champagne Bites is a two-hour yacht experience built around drinks and small dishes. Back on shore, private dinners can be arranged in the pergola, at Chalana, on the sand, or in the room. The hotel's beach bonfires and Paracas Picnic add less formal options, with picnic food available in regular and vegan versions. Boat outings remain subject to conditions; none of these arrangements makes a particular wildlife sighting certain. Picnics and bonfires require 24 hours' advance notice.

The Ballestas Islands are one of the main reasons travelers come to Paracas. Sea lions and Humboldt penguins inhabit the islands, alongside seabirds such as boobies. Waves have worn the rock into arches, adding another reason to look beyond the animals themselves. These are protected habitats, and sightings remain possibilities rather than promises.

On the route toward the islands, the Candelabra geoglyph can be seen from the sea on the Paracas Peninsula. The Paracas National Reserve also deserves time on land. Its cliffs, dunes, and beaches offer a different perspective from the boat, with open views across an unusually dry stretch of coast. Playa Roja and La Catedral are among the reserve's viewpoints.

Pisco's Capitán FAP Renán Elías Olivera Airport is approximately 11.8 kilometers from the hotel; proximity alone does not establish a scheduled flight connection. Lima is several hours away by road, depending on traffic and your starting point. The hotel has no shuttle, and airport transfers are arranged separately.
