The 30-story building rises among Garden City's Belle Époque and Art Deco mansions. Its own interiors combine Art Deco furnishings with contemporary Egyptian work, including paintings by Farouk Hosny. The lobby gallery houses more than 200 paintings and sculptures, giving the arrival spaces a substantial art collection. Pierre-Yves Rochon designed selected Premium rooms and suites, where the river outlook is paired with furnished terraces and carefully detailed interiors.

There are 371 accommodations, comprising 270 guest rooms and 101 suites. The Nile-View Room measures 46 square meters and has a king bed or two twin beds. The Grand Nile-View Room increases the space to 59 square meters, with a king bed, sofa bed and room for a crib. Superior and Citadel-view categories provide other outlooks within the collection, so a river view is a specific room choice.

The Premium Nile-View Room occupies floors 25 to 27. Its private terrace faces the river, and a full marble bathroom accompanies the king bedroom. A coffee machine and tea kettle are useful for mornings on the terrace. For a longer stay, the 96-square-meter Premium Diplomatic Suite separates the bedroom from a living area and adds a furnished outdoor space. A guest powder room sits alongside the full marble bathroom, allowing visitors to use the shared space without entering the bedroom's bathroom. Laundry and pressing services are available, and selected rooms and suites have connecting options.

The Premium Presidential Suite has two bedrooms with king beds across 230 square meters. Separate living and dining areas open the layout beyond the bedrooms, while a large terrace looks across the Nile. Two full marble bathrooms and a powder room serve the suite. It accommodates up to five adults, or two adults and three children ages twelve or younger. The extra bedroom makes it a distinct option for a family or a small group staying together.

The outdoor pools occupy a landscaped rooftop setting with loungers, shaded seating and space to swim. They are heated, and a shallow children's pool gives younger guests their own area. Inside the Spa and Wellness Centre, the heated lap pool sits beneath a domed glass ceiling. This indoor pool welcomes guests ages sixteen and older. The indoor and outdoor settings therefore serve different parts of a stay, with family swimming outside and a dedicated adult setting within the spa.

The spa has 13 treatment rooms and a menu of massages, body scrubs, masks and facials. Its Cleopatra Bath Ritual uses milk, honey and rose petals; the Moroccan Bath Ritual uses olive-based black soap and Moroccan clay. Phytomer products feature in the facial treatments. Couples can book the Royal Couple Suite, which looks over the Nile. A sauna and steam room complement the treatment facilities.

The fitness center also looks onto the Nile through floor-to-ceiling windows. Cardio and weight-training equipment support independent workouts, with personal trainers available for individual sessions. A whirlpool and cold plunge pool are among the wider wellness facilities. Together with the indoor lap pool, the gym provides practical space for an exercise routine during an extended business visit or a sightseeing stay.

Zitouni anchors the hotel's Egyptian dining. Fattah, mezze and regional buffet dishes introduce a broad range of local cooking, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served here. Signature dishes include lamb shank with cinnamon rice and spicy tomato sauce, as well as stuffed vine leaves with grilled lamb chops. Maamoul with keshta adds a traditional sweet to the selection. The restaurant's emphasis on Egyptian dishes makes it a useful first encounter with the country's food as well as a regular dining option during a longer visit.

At 8, Cantonese cooking comes with Nile views. Dim sum and Peking duck are central to the menu, with the duck accompanied by spring onion, cucumber and sauces. Bullona has a different evening character, combining Mediterranean cooking with Italian influences and a DJ-led atmosphere. Seafood and specialty pasta feature prominently, including a rock lobster Catalana salad. Its contemporary dining room faces the river, extending the Nile setting into dinner.

Riviera focuses on coastal Italian cuisine, including handmade pasta and seafood. Byblos brings Lebanese mezze, charcoal-grilled lamb and fish to a poolside setting. For an outdoor meal, Upper Deck Lounge serves Levantine dishes on its terrace, including manakish, mezze and charcoal-grilled plates for sharing. The Pool provides lighter meals, salads and grilled dishes beside the water. These venues give the pool level a dining role beyond drinks on a lounger.

Beymen Café sits inside Beymen Mall beneath a tall stained-glass ceiling. Its menu includes salads, sandwiches and sushi, with desserts and a display of chocolate confections. A meal or coffee here fits between shopping and other plans without leaving the hotel complex. La Galerie adds afternoon tea, specialty coffee, pastries and light meals among modern Egyptian art. The Bar has an Art Deco interior, cocktails and Nile views, with live music forming part of its evening character.

Family support includes babysitting, child-sized bathrobes, children's toiletries and childproofing items. Cribs or rollaway beds can be arranged within the selected room's capacity. The concierge prepares family itineraries and can arrange a felucca ride on the Nile, giving children a view of the city from the water. Egyptian lentil soup and cold mezze appear alongside international choices on the room-service menu.
