Fairmont Tremblant

Fairmont Tremblant sits at the foot of Mont-Tremblant in Québec's Laurentian Mountains, directly by the pedestrian village and close to the ski slopes. Its ski-in, ski-out position places the mountain at the center of a winter stay. Beyond the snow season, the surrounding forest, Lake Tremblant, and nearby golf courses give the hotel a different outdoor life.

The village's restaurants, boutiques, and activity centers are within walking distance. The hotel looks over its rooftops and toward the mountain, with rooms and residences that reflect the alpine setting. Families can settle into accommodation with a kitchen, while couples visiting for a short break have the pools, spa, and village dining close at hand.

The ski valet has a pickup and drop-off counter near the ski-in, ski-out access. Skis and snowboards can be handed over there, keeping equipment out of the way between runs. Rental arrangements with Ski Butlers cover skis, snowboards, and helmets, and lift tickets can be arranged at the hotel.

Tremblant Snow School provides instruction for different abilities, including small-group lessons with certified instructors. This allows beginners to work on technique while more experienced companions explore the mountain. Skiing and snowboarding take place across several sides of the mountain, with the pedestrian village at its southern base. The hotel's direct slope access is useful for returning to a room or meeting the rest of a group during the day.

Other winter outings include snowshoeing through the surrounding forest and skating beside Saint-Bernard Chapel. The outdoor rink is illuminated, giving it a place in the village's evening life as well as its daytime activities. These are resort-area experiences, separate from the hotel's own pool and spa facilities.

Fairmont rooms have either a king bed or two queen beds, with connecting options available. King rooms have walk-in showers; the two-queen category has a bathtub with a rain shower. Warm colors and alpine details carry through the interiors. Fairmont View King rooms look over the pools and pedestrian village, putting the resort's activity in view.

Deluxe rooms add a substantial sitting area, a sofa bed, and a small workstation. The king and two-queen choices let families select their preferred bedding without giving up the extra seating. Junior Suites have a semi-private bedroom and can connect to a Fairmont Two Queen room, while One Bedroom Suites separate the living room from the bedroom. Those are different layouts, despite both carrying the suite name.

Fairmont Gold View rooms face the village, and larger Gold rooms and suites add sitting space. Across the accommodation range, the outlook and separation between living and sleeping areas are useful distinctions when choosing a room.

The One Bedroom King Residence measures 530 square feet and faces the pedestrian village through full-height windows. A separate bedroom is joined by a living room with armchairs and a sofa bed. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, so meals can be prepared within the accommodation.

This residence can connect to a Fairmont View King room, creating an additional bedroom alongside the shared living space. A queen-bed residence and open-plan Studio Suite are also part of the range. The Corner Residence has a dining area and two full bathrooms, with views toward the village and mountain.

The pool terrace occupies a slope-side setting, with a heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, and cool plunge. Warm water and cold air are part of the winter experience here, while the same terrace opens toward the green mountain in summer. A heated indoor pool provides a sheltered swimming option.

The indoor wellness facilities also include a whirlpool bath, dry sauna, and steam baths. The fitness center has natural light, free weights, spinning bicycles, treadmills, and a TRX system. Guests can keep to their own routine or join the hotel's yoga program, without making every form of exercise dependent on mountain conditions.

Moment Spa has 15 treatment rooms, a beauty salon for manicures and pedicures, and a relaxation room. Its menu includes massages, facials, and body treatments, with both individual and duo massage options. The spa operator also lists warm-pebble massage and leg treatments, giving guests several ways to plan an appointment after active days outdoors.

Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire serves dinner in a vintage-inspired dining room overlooking Tremblant. Warm house-made bread, dishes to share, and desserts are part of its approach. The cooking draws on the brasserie tradition, with Québec ingredients contributing to the hotel's wider dining program.

Le Comptoir has a casual, family-oriented setting. Breakfast includes pastries, fresh juices, and live cooking stations, with mountain views from the restaurant. Axe Lounge Bar serves light meals and cocktails in a warm interior, keeping the bar useful for food as well as an evening drink.

Ricochet Café and Terrasse is beside the ski access and pool terrace. Its position puts a casual stop close to both the slopes and the outdoor water facilities. The Après-Ski terrace provides another place for drinks with a mountain outlook. In-room dining covers breakfast through dinner, and the pedestrian village adds restaurants and cafes a short walk from the hotel.

In summer, Lake Tremblant has beach access and water activities, including kayaking and paddleboarding. The mountain has hiking trails and lookout points, while zip-line excursions pass above the forest. Cycling and mountain biking extend the choice of routes around the resort. The village also has a luge attraction, with family activities spread between the mountain and its base.

Le Diable and Le Géant are the resort area's golf courses. Farther afield, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant has hiking trails, lakes, and canoe or kayak outings on the Diable River. The park is a separate excursion from the pedestrian village, with its own access arrangements. Autumn brings forest color to the wider Laurentians, while walking and village visits remain central to a stay outside the ski season.

The hotel is on Chemin de la Chapelle, at the edge of the pedestrian resort. Montreal-Trudeau International Airport is approximately a 90-minute drive in the hotel's directions; traffic and winter road conditions can lengthen the journey. The concierge can arrange transport, and indoor valet parking is available. Meetings and group stays can also be accommodated, with the village and mountain forming the setting beyond the meeting room.

Why we love this hotel

Why we love this hotel

The heated outdoor pool offers open-air swimming through the seasons, so a pool break need not be limited to summer visits.

Choux Gras serves dishes made for sharing, giving friends or family a dinner centered on passing plates around the table.

Laundry machines on most floors make longer mountain stays easier, letting you wash clothing at the hotel instead of packing for every day.
