The all-inclusive format covers meals in the dining venues and two scheduled on-ranch activities a day. Guides and required equipment are part of those activities. Spa treatments, fishing licences and certain float or off-ranch trips are separate arrangements. Riding and creek fishing sit at the centre of the included outdoor programme.

Guests move between buildings on ranch roads and trails, often using the comfort bikes supplied with their accommodations. The Rod & Gun Club is the base for activity gear and guides. Granite Lodge remains the main point of return, with a fire in the Great Room and the Silver Dollar Saloon nearby.

Near Granite Lodge, the Mercantile stocks boots, hats and outdoor gear alongside local artisan goods and specialist outdoor brands. It is a practical stop before a ride or trail outing, with equipment and clothing gathered in one place. Elsewhere on the ranch, The Den has a fire and can host a private dinner, meeting, yoga session or social hour.

The accommodation collection numbers 31 distinct stays. Nine are in Granite Lodge, whose rooms draw on railroad hotels and national-park lodges through timber, textiles and frontier antiques. Their position near the Great Room, dining room, spa and saloon makes the lodge the most immediate way to join the ranch's shared spaces.

The original nineteenth-century barn offers a different kind of history. Loft, Stables and Wrangler occupy former working spaces; they can be reserved separately or together. Their names reflect the building's earlier hay loft, horse stables and tack room. Together they can accommodate a group of up to 13.

Log cabins spread farther into the valley. Cattail Cabin has two large suites, a kitchen, porch and fireplace. Bluebird is a one-bedroom creek-facing cabin with a screened porch and private sauna. Bear House adds six bedrooms, six bathrooms, kitchen and dining space, as well as a hot tub and laundry facilities.

Along Rock Creek, hybrid wood-and-canvas cabins place a porch and private bathroom beside the landscape. Apache has a king bed and screened porch; Bull has queen beds and its own screened porch. Family canvas cabins such as Cutbow and Grayling divide two rooms with a curtain and add a private bathroom. All four sit along the creek near Buckle Barn.

The kitchen works with regional and local ingredients, using a wood-fire grill and Dutch oven. Meals are served in the ranch's dining venues rather than as routine in-room dining. Menus draw on Montana's harvest and change with the season.

Buckle Barn is a 5,500-square-foot dining and event space with an expo kitchen and wood-fire grill. Even the grill facade has a ranch connection, built from repurposed tractor parts. Its fir floor also holds music and dancing for gatherings. Breakfast and lunch are served here, and seasonal barn dances use the space.

Granite Lodge offers dinner by the fire, with multi-course menus and regional wine pairings. Social hour begins in the Great Room before guests move to the dining room. The dining programme also includes tasting menus; cocktails and small bites precede the meal.

Blue Canteen belongs to the canvas-cabin area at Camp Roosevelt. Its wood-burning stove and open-air character distinguish it from the lodge dining room. It serves as a summer breakfast nook and a place for refreshments or a s'more. The ranch also uses the Granite Lodge Flagstone for outdoor grilling.

Riding is one way to see the property's open land, but it is not the only activity. The ranch maintains a herd of more than 70 horses, with wranglers matching mounts to ability. Creekside trails suit beginners; pine trails and higher ground offer a different ride. Arena lessons create another route into horsemanship without requiring a long trail outing.

At the Rod & Gun Club, fishing begins with rods, waders and flies before guests go to Rock Creek. Guided walk-and-wade outings use the ranch's private frontage, and casting lessons give newcomers a start on the bank. Float trips take the experience beyond the wading water and are arranged separately.

Rock Creek holds westslope cutthroat, rainbow, brown and brook trout along with Rocky Mountain whitefish. Salmonflies, mayflies and stoneflies are among its hatches. Guides ask anglers to release the trout they hook.

Beyond riding and fishing, the activity programme names hiking, archery, mountain biking, sapphire mining and shooting sports. Guides lead activities across the ranch's trails, ranges and outdoor spaces. At the arena, wranglers teach roping, team penning and barrel racing.

The Spa at Rock Creek has a cedar sauna, shower facilities and a relaxation area alongside its treatment rooms. Its menu includes massage, body treatments and facials; spa services are separate from the all-inclusive activity core.

The spa's Sapphire Hydration Wrap begins with a kombucha-and-citrus cleanse, then a ginger-and-lime sugar exfoliation and white-tea and seaweed body butter. A warm linen wrap and hydrating oil finish the treatment. A separate mineral soak uses Medicine Springs Mineral Therapy; it is available in select accommodations.

Near Granite Lodge, the Silver Dollar Saloon takes its name from coins set into the bar. It has four bowling lanes, billiards, darts, shuffleboard and a private movie theatre.

Trapper Cabin sits about two miles from Granite Lodge on the bank of Rock Creek. Its wood, stone and canvas construction makes it the ranch's most secluded accommodation, away from the main gathering spaces.
