The Terrace Suite Golf View, for example, has a private terrace facing Lima Golf Club, together with a king bed, desk and couch. If sitting outside matters more than adding another interior room, this category deserves a closer look.

A Legacy Garden Suite has 60 square meters and a terrace with a private garden. The 65-square-meter Grand Heritage Suite instead pairs garden views with separate spaces inside. Its bathroom includes a whirlpool bath and separate shower. For longer visits, the choice is between your own outdoor area and more separation indoors.

Larger choices include the 85-square-meter Museum Suite Golf View and the 90-square-meter Country Club Suite Golf View. The latter has two distinct interior areas. At 150 square meters, the Presidential Suite Golf View includes a full dining room, a walk-in closet and a guest bathroom, with a private terrace overlooking the course. Its scale makes sense when private meals or time spent in the suite form a substantial part of the trip.

Families should confirm the room's permitted occupancy and exact bed arrangement before choosing a category. A large one-bedroom suite does not necessarily provide the sleeping separation a family needs. Requests for an additional guest or a particular bed setup are better settled with the hotel in advance than inferred from the floor area.

Perroquet Restaurant brings Peruvian cooking and an international repertoire together in the hotel's main dining room. La Panadería del Country has a more casual café-restaurant approach. It offers a useful change from the main restaurant, particularly for a lighter lunch or a less structured meal. Desserts and coffee also make it a natural stop between outings.

Bar Inglés is closely associated with the pisco sour, but its atmosphere matters as much as the cocktail. Wood-paneled walls, leather armchairs and soft lighting give the room an English-club influence. It is a setting for conversation and a drink before or after dinner, with a character distinct from the hotel's brighter dining spaces.

Seating at the bar is on a first-come basis; reservations are not accepted. Keep that in mind if a drink here is part of a tightly scheduled evening. A pisco sour and time to enjoy the room are enough to understand why the bar is central to the hotel's identity.

Lima Golf Club is close to the hotel, and a partnership allows guests to arrange a round through reception. A reservation must be requested at least 24 hours ahead. Confirm the applicable playing conditions and charges when arranging access; proximity to the fairways should not be mistaken for unrestricted use of a private club. For golfers, this is a reason to plan part of the stay around San Isidro.

Yaku Spa offers hot-stone and deep-tissue massages, facials, body wraps and hydrotherapy. An outdoor pool and a gym complete the hotel's wellness facilities. Together they provide ways to unwind after travel or appointments, without requiring a separate excursion. The spa is better considered as part of a city stay than as the basis for a resort-style wellness holiday.

Vitrales is a light-filled event room of 110 square meters. It belongs to a broader collection of venues that includes boardrooms, gardens and larger halls. The 540-square-meter Pavilion accommodates events on a different scale, while Perroquet's private rooms suit smaller meals. Guests attending a celebration can therefore stay within the same property as the occasion.

Allow realistic time for travel between San Isidro, central Lima and the coastal districts. The city's traffic can influence dinner plans as much as distance on a map. Coordinate the journey from Jorge Chávez International Airport around the flight and arrival conditions, allowing for delays on the road. For a short visit, grouping appointments and meals by neighborhood leaves more time to enjoy the hotel itself.
