Luxury Hotel Offers In New Zealand

Keep the time you want at each stop ahead of the incentive. If your selected InterContinental Auckland quote includes a third night complimentary on a three-night stay, it can fit a shorter city chapter. A selected Treetops Lodge & Estate quote containing a fifth-night benefit instead calls for five nights at the Rotorua estate.

Those are separate reservations with different roles in the trip. Value an additional lodge night against the time it adds to that stay, rather than removing a stop you want elsewhere simply to reach the offer's qualifying length.

If the selected SO/ Auckland and Sofitel Wellington quotes each contain a 10% discount against Best Available Rate, the same percentage refers to a separate rate at each hotel. It does not make the underlying accommodation prices equal or reduce every expense on the journey.

Compare the eligible room-rate total with the comparable alternative in the city you actually intend to visit. A lower percentage saving can still leave a lower accommodation bill; changing the city to chase a headline also changes the journey.

Price the alternatives for the same accommodation and the nights you need. For example, if a selected SO/ Auckland fifth-night quotation contains its restriction against other promotions and discounted rates, compare it separately with a qualifying reduced-rate quotation. Do not subtract a free night from an already discounted price.

The useful measure is the resulting eligible reservation total. An extra-night offer is attractive only if that length of stay serves your trip; the benefit headline does not establish that a shorter or different reservation costs more.

Start with the space and sleeping arrangement your party needs at each stop. A city room and a lodge villa serve different stays; a saving on accommodation that does not suit the party has little practical value. Have the chosen offer's eligible category and occupancy confirmed for the actual reservation, rather than extending a benefit to every room at the hotel.

Then weigh the price difference for the accommodation you prefer against the benefit on the eligible alternative. Keep that choice distinct from how many nights you allocate to the stop.

Keep travel between your chosen bases, outings and meals outside the quoted room benefit as separate budget lines unless the confirmed terms expressly include them. A discount stated against Best Available Rate concerns the eligible accommodation rate; a complimentary-night headline alone establishes no contribution toward flights, ferries or a road journey.

Add the confirmed reservation totals and the remaining journey costs before comparing two complete itineraries. Check inclusions for each exact stay, so a saving at one hotel does not disguise the cost of adding an unnecessary travel leg.
