Garden and sea views distinguish the accommodation as much as size. Superior Rooms Sea View are in either the main house or the cottages, with a balcony or terrace looking toward the water. Junior Suites Garden View sit among olive trees, a short walk from the gym. Master Suites have one bedroom and a terrace.

Classic Rooms measure 23 to 39 square meters and have a king bed for two guests. Terracotta floors, white walls and cream-colored bedspreads give them a simple Tuscan palette. These rooms include a Faber coffee machine, Bluetooth radio and air conditioning, with in-room dining and laundry available.

The 53-square-meter Deluxe Suite has sea views and a balcony or terrace, with a king bed for two guests. Rosemary green and turquoise feature in the interiors, alongside Tuscan decorative details. Living quarters and a large, light bathroom complete the space. This category can be in either a cottage or the central building.

The Iconic Suites have two king bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious living room within 94 to 101 square meters. Each has a walk-in wardrobe and either a large terrace or a private garden, with sea views. The three suites have different interiors, combining contemporary furniture with vintage touches. They accommodate up to five guests. For five people, confirm the additional sleeping arrangement alongside the two king beds. The occupancy limit does not mean that every guest has a separate bedroom.

The Pellicano Suite occupies 129 square meters and has its own garden, a short walk from the main house. A bright living room separates the two king bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom; a third bathroom is reached from the living room. There is also a walk-in wardrobe. The suite accommodates four guests, with interiors personally curated by Marie-Louise Sciò that refer to the 1960s. A Gaggia coffee machine is provided, and in-room dining and laundry services are available.

The Argentario Suite pairs a king master bedroom with a single bedroom. Its 109 square meters include a living room, and outside are a sea-view terrace and a private pool. Warm vintage details, bright colors and patterned textiles give this suite a different character from the more contemporary Iconic Suites. It accommodates up to four guests. The hotel welcomes children aged eight and older throughout the property.

Michelino Gioia leads the cooking at Ristorante Il Pellicano. Dinner draws on Tuscan produce, seasonal ingredients and small producers, with dishes from both land and sea. Lobster and shrimp are among the ingredients in a menu that changes over time. The cooking takes a contemporary approach to Italian traditions, with dinner served from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations are essential, and the suggested dress code is casual-elegant.

Gioia arrived in 2018 after working at sister property La Posta Vecchia. His signature dishes include fusilloni with scorpion fish and squid, and Orbetello eel with fennel and mixed salad. These local and coastal references run through his approach to Italian cooking.

Pelligrill overlooks the pool terrace and the water below. It serves lunch and dinner, with dishes such as local seafood salad, Chianina steak and homemade pasta. Fish is a regular focus, alongside Italian cooking with some fusion influences. Lunch runs from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by dinner from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The same casual-elegant dress guidance applies, and tables should be reserved.

At Bar All'Aperto, Federico Morosi mixes drinks on the terrace, including the Pelican Martini and The Teller, his variation on a Negroni. Bar Roberto is the evening address for a cocktail or Italian grappa, with piano music and finger food by Gioia. The cellar holds Italian and international wines, and private tastings can be arranged.

The Beauty Club is part of The Benissimo Club and has a calidarium and four treatment rooms, each with a private shower. One of those rooms is for couples. The beauty salon provides manicures, with hair services available on request. The club opens from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A cypress-framed tennis court was designed by landscape architect Paolo Pejrone. Indoors, the gym has Technogym equipment for cardiovascular and strength training; open-air areas provide another setting for exercise. Private yoga lessons with an instructor take place with sea views.

Il Pellicano is at Località Sbarcatello, reached by following the coastal road for four kilometers beyond Porto Ercole. Orbetello is the nearest rail station. Rome Fiumicino, Rome Ciampino, Pisa and Florence are airport options, and the hotel can arrange private collection.
