Balconies and terraces look toward the sea, gardens or mountains, depending on the category. Superior rooms measure 19 to 23 square meters. Executive Mare rooms have 32 square meters and a balcony on the sea side, while Prestige rooms pair the same interior area with a 27-square-meter terrace. Executive Deluxe Mare rooms occupy the fourth and fifth floors, with 35 square meters inside and a 17-square-meter terrace. A private elevator serves the Executive floors.

The suite collection includes layouts with substantial outdoor space. The Presidential Suite has 210 square meters indoors and a 150-square-meter sea-view terrace. In the Imperial Suite, a bedroom and living room are accompanied by two bathrooms, with 110 square meters inside and a 92-square-meter terrace. Charme suites measure 60 square meters and have two bathrooms and two terraces facing the sea. The 64-square-meter Junior Suite has two double beds and a sea-view terrace. The Nora Suite has a living room within its 72 square meters, plus a 74-square-meter terrace overlooking the sea. These are distinct arrangements, so bathroom count and sleeping configuration deserve as much attention as floor area when choosing a suite.

Beside the main hotel, the Castello Garden bungalows bring family accommodation down into the greenery, close to the beach, Castello pool and Oasis pools. Some are arranged over two levels, and connecting configurations are available. Deluxe Bungalows measure 30 to 33 square meters and have a patio and garden. The Deluxe Family category has 35 square meters with connected rooms and a living area; Luxury Family Bungalows extend to 44 square meters. The published capacities are two adults and one child, two adults and two children, and two adults and three children, respectively.

Castello Garden guests have breakfast at Bellavista, the resort's sea-facing buffet restaurant.

Cavalieri is Il Castello's principal restaurant, surrounded by greenery. Dinner centers on a buffet with live cooking, accompanied by piano music. Elsewhere in Forte Village, Bellavista looks directly over the sea and serves Italian and Sardinian dishes. Fish Market focuses on grilled fish and shellfish, while Ristorante Sardo brings local pasta to the table. Le Dune serves Italian cooking in a sea-facing setting, and the pizzeria provides a more casual option. These restaurants belong to the wider resort; their presence does not mean every meal is included with an Il Castello room.

Inside the hotel, Bandiere Bar is a traditional lounge for a drink and live music. Across the resort, Piazza Luisa's bar has sofas and sea views. The gelateria sits between the pizzeria and the beach, while Pasticceria del Forte makes room for Sardinian sweets and chocolate.

Il Castello guests have access to a reserved, heated infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean, with direct access to the beach. The pool is also available to selected other resort accommodation categories.

Forte Village describes nine pools across the resort, including three Oasis pools, one with a children's area. The Acquapark and the spa's thalassotherapy circuit are separate parts of the grounds.

At the Boat House on the beach, the water sports selection includes catamarans, canoes, pedal boats, windsurfing boards and sailing dinghies. Waterskiing and jet skiing are also listed. This is the resort's waterside sports base, distinct from the hotel pool and the children's water play areas.

The resort-wide Acquaforte Thalasso and Spa centers on six seawater pools set within gardens. Their temperatures and salt concentrations vary through the circuit. That sequence of outdoor pools is the spa's defining feature, supported by treatment rooms and a broader program of massage and movement. Massage choices include aromatherapy and shiatsu, alongside physiotherapy services.

An Ayurvedic Park provides a garden setting for Ayurvedic massage, meditation and yoga. For guests arranging a session together, the Private Spa can be reserved for a family or group of friends. Forte Lab adds specialist nutrition and performance services, while Pilates and other guided exercise complement the water-based facilities. These are shared Forte Village wellness facilities, not treatment rooms confined to Il Castello. Spa access and individual appointments need their own arrangements.

Children's Wonderland is the resort's dedicated family area, with two shallow children's pools and activities that include painting, ceramics, origami and cooking. Its small vegetable garden introduces children to growing produce. At Mario's Village, children aged three and older can play in nine themed houses, including a supermarket, hair salon and restaurant. The miniature village gives imaginative play a physical setting, with staff supervising the area.

For younger children, the nursery is equipped with cribs and a dedicated space for breastfeeding mothers. It serves children up to age three, and strollers can be rented at the resort. A separate children's restaurant has dishes for younger guests and pureed food for babies.

The Acquapark has slides and pools, plus a pirate ship, water cannons and smaller slides for younger children. Teenagers have Leisureland, with bowling, a go-kart track and dancefloors. These family facilities are distributed around Forte Village, alongside its hotels and gardens.

Forte Village has 13 tennis courts, as well as padel, pickleball, basketball and soccer facilities. Cycling, hiking and diving are among its other activities. Sports academies provide coached sessions, although the individual disciplines and instructors follow their own programs.

The gym occupies two floors, with large windows overlooking the surrounding landscape. Group exercise takes place in the sports area's Fitzone, where the program includes stretching, aquagym and total-body workouts. This keeps the fitness facilities separate from the spa's quieter garden spaces.

The resort is at Santa Margherita di Pula, on the coast south of Cagliari. Cagliari Elmas Airport is approximately 45 kilometers away. Pula and the archaeological site of Nora add local context beyond the resort grounds. At Nora, the remains include baths, a forum and temples beside the coast. Cagliari provides the nearby city setting for a longer excursion, while Il Castello keeps the beach close at hand on returning to Forte Village.
