There is plenty to notice without a procession of decorative objects: the grain of the wood, the low profile of a sofa and the way light falls across the upholstery. Italian furniture and Brazilian materials form a consistent visual language throughout these shared spaces.

The architecture by aflalo/gasperini places the hotel toward Pedroso Alvarenga, with the taller residential building farther back. Exposed brick at the base, vertically textured concrete and aluminum in a weathered-steel color give the exterior a different texture from the interiors. Along the side passage, trees and transparent ground-floor frontages open the development toward the street. That arrangement is part of the experience of arriving here: the entrance sits within an active city block, with dining addresses at ground level.

The 107 accommodations span six categories. Superior Rooms start at 30 square meters, while Deluxe Rooms have about 485 square feet. Both have king or twin bedding, a table for two and basalt-marble bathrooms with showers. Junior Suites add living and dining space and soaking tubs; the larger Suite category measures about 750 square feet. Wood paneling and linen curtains carry the design upstairs. Images of Italy collected by Gero Fasano decorate the suites, adding a personal reference to the family's heritage.

A Deluxe Suite has approximately 970 square feet, king or twin bedding and a dining table for four. The Two-bedroom Suite expands to roughly 2,045 square feet, with one king bedroom and a second containing twin beds. Its living and dining rooms include a table for eight. This is the clearest option for a family wanting two bedrooms within one accommodation, or companions who want shared living space. Bathrooms in these suites combine soaking tubs with separate high-pressure showers, bronze-finished fittings and smart toilets. The distinction is the layout, not simply a larger version of a standard bedroom.

Gero is the key dining address at Hotel Fasano São Paulo Itaim. On the first floor, it serves classic Italian cooking under chef Lomanto Oliveira. Pasta and risotto sit alongside meat and fish, with veal ravioli in mushroom sauce among the restaurant's signature dishes. Lunch and dinner are both part of the restaurant's regular service. Classic desserts continue the Italian theme, including torta della nonna with vanilla filling, lemon zest and pine nuts. It gives the hotel a restaurant that can accommodate a working lunch or a longer evening meal without changing its culinary identity. Gero Itaim is a distinct venue from the group's other Gero addresses in São Paulo.

The Lobby Bar serves starters, sandwiches and sweets alongside classic cocktails. It is an alternative to a full restaurant meal and a place to meet within the hotel's shared spaces. Upstairs, the Pool Bar pairs light dishes with cocktails and fresh juices. The two bars occupy different parts of the building, so a drink indoors and lunch beside the water have quite different settings. Room service provides another dining option for guests who prefer to eat in their accommodation.

The rooftop pool is heated and reserved for hotel guests, with an infinity edge and views across the neighborhood. Its open-air setting is an important part of a stay here, particularly between appointments or after time on the surrounding streets. From the 21st floor, the outlook takes in the tree canopy of Jardim Europa as well as the city's taller buildings. A sun deck accompanies the water, and the hotel also has dry and steam saunas.
