The architecture keeps the views in focus, while the interiors use natural materials within a contemporary design rather than a traditional grand-hotel style.

Standard king and twin rooms measure 41 square meters. Ocean View categories have partial sea views, while Oceanfront rooms face the water directly. Bathrooms in these categories have separate bathtubs and showers. Accessible king and twin rooms instead specify accessible showers, wider doorways, and lowered controls. The 83-square-meter Connecting Rooms category joins a king room to a twin room, with a courtyard outlook. Cribs are available on request.

The 69-square-meter suites add separate living rooms: Grand Suite King looks toward the pool or lagoon, Oceanfront Suite faces the sea, and Ocean Lagoon Suite takes in both bodies of water. Larger layouts include the 120-square-meter Diplomat and 144-square-meter Presidential suites, each with living and dining spaces and a gourmet kitchen. The 195-square-meter Penthouse Suite has its own swimming pool and a large ocean-facing balcony, as well as a kitchen and separate living and dining rooms. Grand Club categories provide lounge access; this is tied to the accommodation booked.

Dining moves between Japanese cooking at Shiso, the Brazilian character of Cantô Gastrô & Lounge, and breakfast beside the lagoon at Tano. Arthur Casas designed the restaurant spaces, giving each a distinct setting within the hotel. There is also a lobby Quiosque for drinks, snacks, and products from the hotel's pastry kitchen. Alongside food, the shop stocks practical items such as sunscreen and flip-flops. It is a convenient stop for something small without settling into a full restaurant meal.

Tano faces Marapendi Lagoon, with an open kitchen and an air-conditioned dining room. Breakfast includes bread made in the hotel, Brazilian fruit, and live cooking stations for tapioca and omelets. Vegan options are available alongside the main buffet, which also includes artisanal cheeses and preserves. The lagoon outlook brings the landscape into the morning meal, even when you take a table indoors. Tano also serves as an events space. For lunch and dinner, the other two restaurants remain the focus.

Cantô Gastrô & Lounge has a contemporary menu rooted in Rio's informal dining culture. Petiscos, the small savory dishes served with drinks, sit naturally alongside caipirinhas and other cocktails. Lunch and dinner are part of its regular service, with a recurring feijoada meal bringing the Brazilian bean-and-meat stew to the table. There is a dedicated vegan menu as well as separate lunch and dinner selections. The room's large mural takes inspiration from Roberto Burle Marx, carrying a Brazilian reference into the interior as well as the cooking.

Shiso occupies the lobby floor, with a large counter facing the open kitchen. Taking a counter seat brings the preparation of sushi, sashimi, and grilled dishes into view. Traditional Japanese cooking is interpreted with contemporary and Carioca influences, connecting its culinary starting point with Rio. The Omakase Zen tasting menu places the sequence in the chef's hands, moving through fish preparations and a grilled main course to dessert. A sake and cocktail bar accompanies the dinner service. The restaurant's intimate setting is distinct from the more informal lounge atmosphere at Cantô.

The outdoor pool has temperature-controlled water and a wet deck, with space to spend time beside the water as well as in it. Beach service provides umbrellas and loungers on the sand. The two settings remain distinct: the pool is within the resort, while Barra's beach opens onto the Atlantic. A Pool Bar serves snacks and cocktails by the hotel pool. This is a resort where an afternoon can stay centered on the water, with food and drinks close to the loungers rather than requiring a restaurant table.

The Kids Club has a baby area as well as play equipment for older children, including a ball pit, slide, and table football. Video games add an indoor option alongside the physical play areas. Children younger than six must be accompanied by a guardian. For families sharing accommodation, the connecting king-and-twin layout provides two bedrooms within a named category.

Atiaia Spa & Fitness occupies level minus one, away from the outdoor pool deck. Its nine private treatment rooms include three designed for two people, so couples can book a shared treatment space. Massages and other body treatments form part of the menu, with native products among the materials used. Dry and steam saunas complete the bathing facilities. The treatment rooms, saunas, and fitness spaces are gathered within the same department, giving Atiaia a substantial footprint in the hotel's indoor facilities.

A separate studio accommodates yoga and multifunctional training, alongside the gym's cardiovascular and strength-training equipment. The fitness center is open around the clock. You can exercise indoors independently of the beach weather, while the studio provides space for a different kind of session from the main gym floor.

The hotel's Avenida Lucio Costa address places it among Barra's beaches, shopping centers, and cultural venues. Cidade das Artes, Village Mall, and the Olympic Golf Course are area destinations, not facilities within the resort. For arrival, the hotel's sales guide estimates about 45 minutes by road from either Galeão International Airport or Santos Dumont Airport. Actual travel time depends on traffic. The same geography matters when visiting Rio's better-known South Zone beaches: this is a Barra base, with journeys beyond the neighborhood forming a separate part of the day.
