Grand Residences have three or four bedrooms and wraparound lanais. These privately owned accommodations retain the full kitchens, ensuite bedrooms and marble bathrooms, with garden, ocean or oceanfront settings. The outdoor space is an important part of their layout: a wraparound lanai gives a larger group another place to gather beyond the indoor living and dining rooms, without making every shared moment an outing.

Five individually designed Signature Residences offer three- and four-bedroom layouts with expansive lanais and either oceanfront or garden outlooks. Selected homes add private pools or grills, rather than making those features standard throughout the resort. This smaller collection gives the residential concept a more individual expression, with differences in outdoor living space as well as interior design.

The Restaurant at Kapalua Bay looks over the water and serves modern Hawaiian cuisine built around local seafood, meats and island produce. Marriott links its concept to the traditional canoe house. The setting gives a seated meal a direct connection to the bay, while the menu brings ingredients from the island and surrounding ocean to the table.

The Hideaway offers another evening setting overlooking Kapalua Bay, with locally inspired dishes and island-crafted cocktails. Its focus is on relaxed gatherings, distinct from the main restaurant's more formal meal. A group can meet over drinks and food here without moving far from the water, making the resort's evening dining less dependent on a single restaurant or style of occasion.

During a pool day, The Pool Bar serves tropical cocktails and light bites above the tiered pools. Sunset Patio adds casual open-air dining, while The Beach Club has an oceanfront, palm-framed setting beside its pool. These venues make use of different parts of the grounds, so lunch can be part of the outdoor day rather than a reason to head indoors.

Mahana Market supplies grab-and-go bites, beverages and island-inspired treats. It also carries resort wear, pool essentials and gifts. In-residence dining spans breakfast through dinner, bringing the restaurant service into the home-like layout of the accommodations. Alongside the full kitchen, it offers another way to use a dining room or lanai for a shared meal.

Kapalua Bay Beach lies just beyond the resort. Snorkeling and paddleboarding are part of the bay's appeal, with water-sport rentals available nearby through Aqualani. The closeness of the sand makes the beach a place to spend part of the day, not merely a view. Sea conditions still shape time in the water, and the pools offer a different setting for a swim.

The three named pools are Sunset Pool, The Beach Club Pool and The Spa Pool. Sunset Pool has daybeds and a waterslide, while the wider pool landscape includes cascading water and ocean views. The Spa Pool belongs to the spa rather than the general pool scene. Together, these different settings give the resort's outdoor space more variety than a single central pool terrace.
