Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a AAA five-diamond luxury hotel resort east of Phoenix, the state capital of Arizona, United States. The resort is part of the Canadian-based Fairmont group of luxury hotels ranging across the globe.

Scottsdale is a desert city just 20 minutes by car from Phoenix. Home to a large local population, it's swelled annually by visitors enjoying the good golfing facilities and an array of high-end hotels, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is in North Scottsdale, close to the upscale shopping and restaurants of Kierland Commons.

The Old Town is famous for its 1920's buildings, 19th-century olive trees, art galleries, and jewelry shops. There is also the vast stylish mall of Scottsdale Fashion Square. The city is bordered by many other natural features worth visiting with mountains and trails through the conservation area of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

Moreover, architect Frank Lloyd Wright's former home is at Taliesin West. Locally, there are the Botanical Gardens, Butterfly Wonderland, various museums, and parks. Additionally, Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is within easy reach of the luxury resort.

Style and Hospitality

This is a vast resort with a vast number of amenities, all handled by friendly, competent, and knowledgeable staff. The resort comprises the main building, conference center, Fairmont Gold village, and casita village. The architecture is Spanish Colonial style with wrought-iron railings and balustrades amid elegant stucco columns.

Additionally, the grounds surrounding the hotel cover about 65 acres of lush greenery. It also has many paths fringed by the rich coral pinks, purples, and saffron-yellow hues of desert blooms. Sentinels of native Saguaro cacti also stand beside pools and fire pits that give the feeling of living in the oases of the Sonoran Desert. Besides, the McDowell Mountain range provides shade from the all-year-round sunshine.

Features and Amenities

There are exceptional golf and leisure concierge services. There are also two championship-level golf courses, several heated pools, and indoor and outdoor meeting facilities. Moreover, there is a luxury spa and fitness center, gorgeous ballroom, white-sand beach, and four top-notch restaurants.

This world-class resort offers 750 beautifully appointed rooms, suites, and casitas. All rooms and suites feature covered balconies/terraces with views over the gardens and the pools or golf course.

The décor has a tasteful and soothing neutral color scape of cream, ivory, grey, and brown. This gives an earthy feel to harmonize with the desert location. All rooms also have a working space, wi-fi, coffee/tea-making equipment, and air-conditioning.

Fairmont Rooms have a king bed open living/bedroom areas giving stunning expansive views of the Arizona Desert through full-length glass doors. Moreover, the luxurious bathrooms are spacious with oversized spa showers, double vanities, and courtesy bathrobes/slippers.

Deluxe and Deluxe View Rooms are more spacious with soft tones and dove-gray carpets. They also have deep comfortable beds, extra dressing areas, and views over the golf course and lagoons.

These have more space, seating, dining areas, and additional in-room amenities. For example, the Sunset Corner Suite has Colonial-style stacking louvered shutters. There are also collapsible sliding doors giving onto a private furnished patio overlooking Sunset Beach.

Moreover, there are sofa beds in the main rooms with separate bedroom areas. Plus, huge TVs add to the regular list of in-room facilities. These suites are in the Sunset Beach Wing.

The casita village is at the end of the lagoon near the golf course and where the Ambassador Suites are. These are ideal for business guests. They have small-number conference tables in a cozy private atmosphere suitable for meetings.

There is also a wet bar and a large patio with a fire pit for entertaining. Additionally, guests use a sofa bed, fold-away Murphy bed, and half-bathroom. There are also two ultra-luxe Presidential Suites.

Fairmont Gold Rooms

The Junior Suites here have upgraded golf course views and additional benefits. These include private concierge facilities and access to the lounge and Spa. Moreover, an Alexa voice system 'takes orders.' Guests can also rest in the finest bed linen and high-comfort beds, plus enjoy a raft of extra privileges.

Restaurant and Bar

La Hacienda boasts the title of serving 'the best Mexican food in Scottsdale.' It is justified under the direction of innovative culinary Master Chef Richard Sandoval. Sandoval's team serves up re-invented Mexican classics in a casita private hacienda setting. The 'Tequila Goddess' will recommend choices from 240 tequilas to end a fabulous meal plus iconic flaming coffee and cream.

Bourbon Steak is an award-winning steakhouse with prime offerings cooked over mesquite wood flames. The restaurant also serves a fresh fish menu.

Toro Latin restaurant and Rum Bar at the TPC Golf Club offer 150 rums and a Sandoval Asian/Latin menu. Served on an extended romantic patio, guests can watch the sun go down or inside, overlooking the golf course.

Additionally, 'Suviche'- a fusion of ceviche and sushi – is available at the bar. A personally labeled bottle of rum is a purchase to take home that few can resist. Also, local organic foods provide quality US-style breakfast, lunch, and supper menus at the Ironwood American Kitchen.

Spa and Wellness

The Spa is located in the Princess Plaza. It identifies in décor and treatments with the philosophies of the people of the Arizona Desert. Harmonizing and healing in tune with nature is at the heart of a massive range of face and body, diet, and exercise total wellness therapies. The fitness room and exercise classes also complement the treatments.

Sisley Paris Spa is a new addition and sits in the Princess Plaza. It is the high-end Spa of the hotel and has 5 treatment rooms with the Well & Being and a hot tub. This exclusive Spa option offers face and body treatments.

These include one for adults only and the magnificent Princess Pool overlooking the lagoon or Tpc Scottsdale Stadium Golf Course, plus a rooftop spa pool. There is also a kid's swim/play area. Additionally, the latest edition is the 9000 sq. ft. The Sunset Beach Pool with a white-sand beach and colossal splash pad.

Kids and Pets

There is a full range of children's activities, a splash pool, special menus, beds, kid club, and babysitting. Plus, exceptional pet care is also a beautiful feature of the resort.

This hotel provides an oasis of luxury amid the amazing Sonoran scenery Deep in the Arizona desert. It is truly a place where you can turn moments into memories and enjoy award-winning restaurants.
