Best for

Choose Bellagio for a grown-up Las Vegas break built around restaurants and cocktail lounges, with plenty of evening options inside the resort.

What makes it special

Make time for 'O' by Cirque du Soleil, where acrobats, divers and swimmers perform together in a theatre built around water.

Room to consider

Reserve the Fountain View King if watching the water shows from your room matters; this named category overlooks the Bellagio fountains.

Insider tip

Check the Conservatory's display calendar before choosing your dates; the gardens close for several days while each seasonal installation is changed.

Bellagio Las Vegas

Bellagio Las Vegas offers fountain-view rooms at a central address on the Las Vegas Strip. Its lake, flower-filled Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, and Dale Chihuly's glass ceiling give the resort a clear identity before you reach the elevators. The design draws on Lake Como, but the scale is firmly Las Vegas: a major casino, resident Cirque du Soleil show, and restaurants that can fill several evenings without leaving the property. Bellagio remains an MGM Resorts hotel and is also part of The Luxury Collection.

The Fountains of Bellagio perform on the lake in front of the hotel, combining water, music, and light. For many guests, a Fountain View room is worth considering because it turns the show into part of the stay rather than something viewed once from the sidewalk. Watching from above lets you follow the shapes on the water, though it need not replace a walk beside the lake. Shows depend on the weather, so leave time for a second visit if high winds interrupt your first.

Inside, Chihuly's Fiori di Como spreads across the lobby ceiling. Created for Bellagio in 1998, the glass artwork stays in place while the Conservatory changes with the seasons and Lunar New Year. Flowers, plants, and trees form theatrical scenes beneath the glass roof. These displays give repeat visitors something different to see, even when the lake and lobby are familiar.

Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art adds another reason to pause along the pool promenade. Its changing exhibitions offer a different way to spend time with art from looking up at Chihuly's glass in the lobby. Together, the gallery, glass ceiling, and Conservatory give an afternoon here a focus beyond gaming or shopping. You can make them part of a day at the hotel without a trip across the city.

Some of Bellagio's dining rooms make the lake part of the meal. CARBONE RIVIERA has an Italian coastal menu focused on seafood and views of the fountains. It is a distinct restaurant from CARBONE at ARIA, a useful detail when arranging reservations. For another Italian option, LAGO also faces the water, while Spago by Wolfgang Puck pairs dining with the fountain setting.

PRIME Steakhouse gives the evening a different direction. Rather than working through a restaurant checklist, choose the meal around your plans: a leisurely dinner by the lake on one night, then a reservation timed around the theater on another. A fountain-facing venue does not mean every table has the same outlook, so raise a seating preference when booking.

O by Cirque du Soleil uses swimmers, divers, and acrobatic performance on and above water. Having the production in the hotel removes the need to cross the Strip between dinner and the show, though you should still leave time to reach the theater and find your seats. Since O does not run every night, its schedule helps set the timing of a dinner reservation. Children under five cannot attend, and anyone under eighteen must be accompanied by an adult. For families with older children, the aquatic staging offers a shared evening that has little to do with the casino.

Daytime dining has its own setting at Sadelle's Café, which serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch with views of the Conservatory. Eggs Benedict, French toast, and a fish-and-bagel tower feature on the current menu. You might follow breakfast with a look at the flowers, or come back for lunch after a morning out on the Strip. It gives you a sit-down option that fits around daytime plans, without making every meal part of a formal evening.

Bellagio has 3,933 guest rooms, including 510 suites. With so many rooms, the name of the room type is more useful than a broad promise of a Strip view. The categories have different bathrooms as well as different outlooks. For a first visit centered on the fountains, decide how much the view matters before paying for more floor space.

The Fountain View King measures 510 square feet and has a king bed, an oversized shower, and dual sinks. Its named outlook is the reason to choose it; do not assume that a larger suite automatically includes the same view. At the same 510-square-foot size, the Spa Premier King has a soaking tub as well as a shower and dual sinks. This is a meaningful distinction if you want a bath after a long day. The word Spa in its name does not establish access to spa facilities.

A Bellagio Suite doubles that floor area to 1,020 square feet, adding a living room area with a sofa and lounge chair. Its bathroom has a soaking bath and glass-enclosed shower, with a powder room providing another practical difference from a standard room. For a family or friends who need two bedrooms, the Two Bedroom Bellagio Suite measures 1,530 square feet and has two king beds. The extra bedroom lets people keep separate sleeping spaces while sharing a suite, rather than fitting the whole party into one room.

The five outdoor pools sit in a Mediterranean-style courtyard, with cabanas and COMO Poolside Café & Bar nearby. A swim makes a welcome break from time indoors at the casino or theater. Cypress Pool requires a reservation and is for guests eighteen and older. The whole pool complex is not adults-only: at the other pools, children under sixteen must be with a parent or guardian aged at least eighteen. Compare the seating arrangements when planning time beside the water.

Bellagio's personal-care services include massages, facials and salon appointments, with in-room treatments available by arrangement. Discuss the type of appointment when reserving, particularly if it needs to fit between a daytime outing and a dinner or theater booking. The fitness center also has professionals who can advise on exercise goals and help develop a personal training plan. These services offer different ways to spend a quieter part of the day without making the stay revolve entirely around the casino and evening entertainment.

The casino remains central to Bellagio, with table games, slots, poker, and a sportsbook. Guests who want a non-gaming hotel may prefer a different Las Vegas address. Here, the public spaces and shows are part of daily life, with walks between them even when you spend the day inside the resort. The address is 3600 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Harry Reid International Airport is the nearest airport, but the hotel does not run an airport shuttle. On departure, allow for Strip traffic, especially when a flight follows a final meal or treatment.

Why we love this hotel

Why we love this hotel

The Italian-inspired pool courtyard offers a place to swim and lounge outdoors, giving the day a different pace from the casino.

Dale Chihuly's colourful glass flowers fill the lobby ceiling, making arrival an encounter with large-scale art as well as a hotel check-in.

The complimentary ARIA Express tram links nearby resorts and shopping, reducing the amount of walking needed to explore this part of the Strip.
