A bay-facing category is worth considering if the harbor is the reason for the stay. Courtyard rooms make sense when pool time matters more than watching the boats.

Beach Front rooms also measure 500 square feet, with a king bed or two queens, but their outdoor space is a patio with exclusive lawn and bay beach access. That is a different experience from a balcony above the water. Having that social setting downstairs is useful when you would rather linger by the bay than head out again.

Blend Cafe is the simpler option for coffee, pastries, paninis and something to take away. In-room dining leaves you time on your own balcony, while poolside dining keeps lunch close to a swim. For a boat outing, the resort's Onboard Provisions service offers food and drinks for private yachts and Duffy boats.

It is a useful place to spend a quieter part of the day after a morning on the water.

These facilities give a longer stay some routine without requiring each day to revolve around an excursion.

The heated resort pool has lounge chairs, daybeds and private cabanas. Families can spend an afternoon swimming, while a cabana provides a shaded base for reading between dips. The pool offers another way to enjoy being outdoors without making the harbor the focus of every activity.
