Located at Northwest point on the island of Providenciales or Provo as it is locally referred to, Amanyara (peaceful place) is nestled on the tip of a 2,025 hectare (5,000 acre) nature and wildlife reserve, with the widely-acclaimed reefs of the Northwest Point Marine Park just offshore. The resort's name derives from 'aman,' the Sanskrit word for peace, and 'Yara' the word for place in the Arawak Indians' language, one of the region's indigenous peoples. The resort's isolated position is pristine, and its beauty and tranquillity are well removed from much of the island's development. The resort is along a narrow coastal road that rises to a hill and then falls away into a flat plain covered with native bush and stunted trees.
A coastal wonderland - Amanyara is only 25 minutes from the airport, but the drive to reach the resort evokes a sense of transformation; guests journey through several miles of nature preserve leading to an alluring white sand beach overlooking turquoise waters. Just off these shores, sea turtles swim along coral reefs, while on land, contemporary design is married with a warm and friendly staff, creating an oasis of tranquility. Whether celebrating a milestone, hosting an event, or simply spending time with family, guests will find themselves immersed in the serenity of this Turks & Caicos resort. The resort is through a large reception pavilion that opens onto a grand formal reflecting pond that is landscaped with mature trees. This water feature is framed on one side by the Library and Boutique, and opposite, by the Dining Room and terrace, which enjoys sweeping views of the beach.

Accessed from this bedroom and living room are an additional two terraces. The bathroom is separated from the room by a decorative wooden screen and features an elegant freestanding bathtub with an adjacent ottoman.
