InterContinental Davos

InterContinental Davos is set in the spectacular Grisons Alps, 1,600 meters above sea level. The 216 well-appointed and spacious rooms boast mountain and valley views. A modern, warm alpine feel is reflected in the interiors, underlined by high-tech amenities creating an atmosphere of quiet elegance, privacy, and comfort. Aside from a full facility conference area, the hotel offers trendsetting dining and lounge experiences in 3 restaurants and 2 bars, led by Studio Grigio on the 10th floor.

A cosmos vibrant with fascinating and well-balanced contrasts: that’s Davos Klosters. Sports Eldorado, health resort, business location, and cultural metropolis combine amidst a superb Alpine landscape to make Europe’s highest municipality a place of endless possibilities. The world’s political and business elite meets for the annual World Economic Forum in the foremost Alpine congress venue. Davos Klosters hosts international sporting events such as the Spengler Cup, Davos Nordic, or the Swiss Alpine Marathon. In summer, with the Davos Klosters Card, guests travel free of charge by mountain lift/railway or public transport.

Set at the foot of the beautiful Seehornwald mountain and the entry of the scenic Flüela mountain pass, the hotel is only minutes away from the natural Davos lake that invites to take long walks and has perfect running tracks. Take advantage of the free shuttle service to the city center or the various skiing resorts located around the hotel. Both the station and the Conference center are easy to reach by shuttle or with Public transportation.

Dining - "Capricorn Alpine Treasures" - Featuring an open show kitchen, the Alpine Brasserie offers guests the exciting opportunity to observe the daily hustle and bustle of a hotel kitchen. Thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows, the restaurant is flooded with daylight and offers a stunning view of the picturesque mountain scenery. The design of the restaurant strongly reflects the Alpine environment and adjoining Seehorn forest. Natural stone is mixed with bright, fumed oak wood paneling, creating a warm and inviting dining atmosphere. Watch the chefs prepare Swiss specialties, using regionally produced ingredients wherever possible, mixed with highlights of French and Mediterranean cuisine. After a long day in the snow, in winter, enjoy a savory fondue or a raclette with friends or family. Every Saturday evening, an Alpine Churrasco evening is celebrated instead of the à la carte service - an alpine interpreted Brazilian specialty, which has nothing to do with traditional barbeque but opens up new perspectives for real grill enthusiasts! To Drink - The restaurant’s wine selection ranges from new and young wines produced by modern and dynamic winemakers like Charles Smith and Johann Schwarz to classic wines from traditional wineries like Antinori, Alejandro Fernandez, and Joseph Drouhin. Since Davos is close to Switzerland’s most famous wine regions, the wine list features many local wines, carefully selected according to their grapes, producers, and bouquets. The restaurant has also introduced wines from Swiss winemakers like Johannes Davaz and Dieter Meier, who left Switzerland to produce their wines in Italy and Argentina.

"Nuts & Co - Comfort Food with a Twist" - Whether you are looking for a place to have a quick lunch, a sophisticated afternoon tea, or a nightcap, at the Nuts & Co. Lounge Bar, comfort is king! The diverse snack menu includes the InterContinental Burgers, which have reached Davos' cult status thanks to the high-quality meat and home-made sauces used to prepare them. In the afternoon hours, colorful desserts are on display, which goes perfectly with a nice cup of coffee or tea. Floor-to-ceiling windows connect the interior with the bar’s outdoor terrace, on which you can spend cozy hours enjoying the majestic mountain scenery even in winter. Inside, the dark wood paneling reflects the shingles traditionally used to cover the chalets' roofs. A warm color scheme, indirect lighting, and a grand bookshelf create a comfy living-room atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and unwinding in after an exciting day outdoors or a business meeting. To Drink - Using an eclectic collection of spirits from all over the world, the expert bar staff mix an extensive range of cocktails, from all-time classics to innovative self-creations.

"Al Pino - Simply Italian" - A taste of Italy at the Al Pino restaurant, la dolce vita, and buon gusto are brought to life, and it is all in the details. Enjoy home-made specialties à la Mamma and discover the tasty diversity of Italian cuisine. The sumptuous XL pizzas, sophisticated pasta dishes, and creamy risottos are popular with both the guests and Davos locals starting with the classics. For those who long for more than solo pizza e vino, the restaurant offers a wide range of refined Italian fish and meat dishes. From the classic checked tablecloths to the traditional ham slicing machine next to the antipasti buffet and the polished copper pans hanging down from the wall, everything contributes to the charming ambiance providing an authentic dining experience the whole family. To Drink - A fine selection of Italian wines completes the authentic Mediterranean food, whether you fancy true Italian classics from producers like Paolo Conterno, Angelo Gaja, and Giacomo Bologna, superb Tuscans like Sassicaia, Tignanello, Solaia and Ornellaia, or wines from the islands of Sardinia and Sicily.

"Studio Grigio - Lounge - Bar - Dining - Culinary Craftsmanship" - Dinner at the Top! In Studio Grigio, which must be the highest situated and most spectacular restaurant and bar in the Alps, guests are served culinary craftsmanship against a spectacular panoramic Alpine backdrop.
