Nati and Giancarlo Felli founded Guarda Golf with the idea of creating a welcoming home in the mountains. That residential identity extends beyond the hotel: privately owned residences also form part of the property. These are distinct from the Suite Apartments available to hotel guests, so the name encompasses both hospitality and private homes. For a stay, the choice runs from a conventional bedroom to a multi-bedroom apartment with hotel services.

Superior Rooms measure 35 square meters, with solid wood furniture and Italian limestone bathrooms. The 40-square-meter Deluxe Rooms add terraces overlooking the golf course and Alps, plus a bathtub and separate shower. Junior Suites have 45 square meters, a seating area within the bedroom, and a terrace. Some connect with another room through a section of hallway that can be closed off. The 60-square-meter Deluxe Suite has a living room opening onto a large terrace.

Suite Apartments measure 225 square meters and accommodate up to six people in as many as three en-suite bedrooms. A fireplace anchors the living and dining area; outside, the terrace has loungers and dining furniture. The enclosed kitchen has its own service entrance. Bedrooms can have a king or twin beds. Two apartments can connect into a six-bedroom arrangement, while other private-floor configurations combine four to eight rooms. Private floors can reach 450 square meters, with living rooms and kitchens available in selected configurations. These layouts are arranged individually. The separate bedrooms and bathrooms give extended families room to keep their own routines.

Restaurant FIVE looks to the Levant and eastern Mediterranean. Sharing is central to the meal: Aegean and Levantine mezze lead into grilled fish and meat, with contemporary interpretations of regional cooking. The sequence suits a shared dinner, with several flavors on the table before the main course. The restaurant's name reflects five principles, including hospitality, sharing, ingredients, contemporary cooking, and the culinary heritage of the region.

The Guarda Golf Lounge serves international classics, including pasta, salads, and homemade pides. Its fireplace becomes a gathering point in winter, while the terrace takes on that role in summer. Afternoon tea pairs sandwiches, scones, and pastries with tea or coffee. A dessert trolley adds another reason to settle into the lounge during the afternoon. Les Alpes Bar is a separate setting for cocktails and wine before or after dinner, keeping the evening within the hotel without limiting it to the restaurant table.

The Guarda Golf Spa occupies 600 square meters, with a heated indoor pool and a separate whirlpool. A sauna, steam room, and fitness center complete the facilities. Swimming here is an indoor activity, independent of the weather outside; the pool is part of the spa rather than an outdoor summer terrace.

Four treatment rooms include a Spa Suite designed for couples, with its own whirlpool and hammam. This gives two people a private treatment setting with bathing facilities, separate from the shared spa spaces. Massages, facials, and beauty treatments use La Colline and KOS Paris products. Appointments cover body treatments and facial care, with exercise space and the pool in the same spa setting.

The 15-seat Sir Roger Moore Private Cinema is one of Guarda Golf's most individual spaces. Named for the actor and friend of the hotel, it screens a selection of films and can be reserved for private use. A billiard room and a library with comfortable seating provide other places to spend time indoors. Families also have a children's playroom, adding somewhere to play beyond the bedroom or apartment.

Winter arrangements are equally concrete. A ski room has boot warmers, and the hotel organizes transfers to the slopes. Staff can arrange ski passes, book instructors, and reserve restaurants on the mountain. Downhill skiing therefore starts with a transfer to the lift network, not by stepping directly from a bedroom onto a piste. For golfers, the hotel can reserve tee times and arrange for green fees to be charged to the room.

For a family celebration, Guarda Golf has private dining spaces as well as terraces and a garden beside the golf course. A meal can be arranged around the occasion, and the entire hotel can also be reserved on request. That makes it possible to bring a group together across several rooms while retaining shared places for dinner and time indoors.

The nearby courses belong to Golf-Club Crans-sur-Sierre. The nine-hole Jack Nicklaus course and 18-hole Severiano Ballesteros course give golfers two distinct rounds, with the latter associated with the Omega European Masters. The club also runs a golf academy and an indoor training center. These are local club facilities, separate from the hotel's spa and leisure rooms; a hotel reservation does not itself replace a golf booking.

On the Jack Nicklaus course, narrow, curving fairways and carefully placed obstacles reward accurate placement. Its shorter layout still calls for an established level of play, and access follows the club's handicap and membership requirements. Outdoor golf belongs to the playing season, while the destination's indoor center supports practice beyond it. This is a hotel positioned for golf, with help arranging the practical details, rather than a resort with a course reserved solely for its own guests.

Summer walks around Crans-Montana extend into a landscape of vineyards, forests, mountain lakes, and meadows crossed by bisses, the traditional irrigation channels. The marked network includes gentler outings as well as demanding mountain routes. The local tourism office publishes dedicated stroller walks and information on guides, mountain huts, and lift access, making it possible to plan for different abilities within the same family. These excursions reach beyond the immediate hotel grounds into the wider region.

Airport transfers can be arranged. Local transfers help with movement around Crans-Montana, and babysitting is available by arrangement for families.
