This is a place far removed from Italian clichés and yet entirely faithful to the expression of beauty for which this country is renowned, as indeed is its cuisine.
Nuts & Co. Lounge Bar - Food For Body & Soul. Whether you want a light lunch, a sophisticated afternoon tea or a nightcap - in the Nuts & Co. Lounge Bar, your well-being always comes first. The floor-to-ceiling windows create a smooth transition to the bar's outdoor terrace, where you can spend cozy hours enjoying the majestic mountain scenery even in winter. Inside the bar, the dark wood paneling is reminiscent of the shingles traditionally used as roofing for the region's chalets. The warm color scheme, indirect lighting and an impressive bookshelf create a cozy living room atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after an eventful day outdoors or an intense business meeting.
The varied snack menu includes, for example, the AlpenGold-burgers, which have now achieved cult status in Davos due to the high-quality meat and homemade sauces used in their preparation. In the afternoon, delicious and colorful desserts are served that go perfectly with a good cup of coffee or tea. To Drink - The large selection of spirits from all over the world is the basis for the wide range of cocktails that the bartenders mix for you with passion – from timeless classics to innovative own creations.
La Muña Peruvian And Asian Inspirations - Dinner at the Top! La Muña, which must be the highest situated and most spectacular restaurant and bar in the Alps, guests are served culinary inspirations against a spectacular panoramic Alpine backdrop. Featuring monochrome shades of slate gray and black, punctuated by eclectic artworks and spectacular lighting, the atmosphere is intimate and elegant. Time and space are easily forgotten when journeying to lands such as Japan and Peru. Muña is a simple and magical plant, used in Peru to relieve the ills associated with high altitude. It is the ideal ally for living in the mountains and venturing to summits. It is therefore entirely logical that the Peruvian and Asian-inspired restaurant at the AlpenGold Hotel should bear its name.
Flavors - La Muña's cuisine tickles the taste buds. An ultra-fresh approach reigns supreme. Ingredients are combined on the fly, whether raw or marinated. Generally hard to find in Europe, the produce is carefully sourced. Dishes featuring a combination of tender or crunchy textures and subtle tangy flavors are served as soon as they emerge from the resolutely live cooking process – ready to be shared as the fancy takes you. The must-tastes? Ceviche red tuna with sesame or sea bass and black truffle; Black Cod marinated in saikyo miso; crispy Shakes combining melt-in-your mouth sensation of a tartare with the crispness of rice. Truly irresistible.
Cheese Factory - Cheese Explored Through A Blend Of Tradition And Surprises. Fondue or raclette in the traditional way are one thing, local specialties in more creative preparation are another - discover products from the region... Concept - What a privilege it is to enjoy Alpine specialties in a restaurant with high ceilings and huge windows overlooking the forest! Wood is a natural part of the decor, instilling a warm simplicity that echoes the amber-colored hanging lamps. Flavors - Alongside the traditional fondue or raclette that everyone loves in the mountains, the menu dares to offer offbeat local specialties served as modern and ultra-gourmet dishes. The cheeses are local, grand cru varieties that are given a special twist according to the recipe. The meats are carefully selected; the mountain potatoes of the Albulatal variety are exclusive to the AlpenGold Hotel; and everything is subtly seasoned with spices from the surrounding mountain pastures. Why resist, since you need plenty of energy to hit the slopes?
Le Fumoir - Until Late In The Evening. To round off the evening; Le Fumoir - indulgence in an inspiring ambience. Design - LThe Rooftop of the AlpenGold Hotel Davos is the creation of internationally acclaimed restaurant designer Henry Chebaane, who conceived the brand identity, scenography and interior design for the 21st century. The walls are clad in crystal fragments, white marble and silver stone, reflecting an endless sparkle in all directions. Henry Chebaane's whimsical sense of humour is reflected in many details, the black cigar room with red lasers that turn the smoke into playful rings, and the sound-reactive silver electric guitar he placed on a huge piece of local granite.
To Smoke - Le Fumoir" is dedicated to friends of the finest tobacco. A wide selection of top Cuban cigars, including some rare Cohibas, is complemented by selected cigars from Latin American regions. Here the connoisseur can indulge his passion undisturbed. In the daring ambience, well-ripened brandies and distilled fermentations to round off the pleasure are served. The meeting place for like-minded people who want to celebrate a hand-rolled cigar as an expression of lifestyle in peace and quiet.
