The mansion belonged to the Alomar family from the early 19th century until the end of the 20th. Its last major alteration took place in 1860. During the restoration, beams, stone floors, wooden coffered ceilings, frescoes, and murals were retained. The building had been one of Palma's important private residences before its conversion into a hotel. These details vary through the property rather than appearing as a uniform style in every room.

Plaza Sant Francesc has its own history. The square once formed part of Santa Eulalia Church's property, in a city divided into five parishes with judicial, financial, and administrative power. After King James I entered Palma in 1229, land passed to religious orders including the Franciscans. The first stone of the neighboring Sant Francesc church was laid in 1281.

This part of Palma was known as Madina Mayurqa during Muslim rule, and its narrow street pattern reaches back to that period. The hotel sits on the square at number 5, within walking distance of Palma Cathedral, the Almudaina Royal Palace, and La Lonja.

The Alomar family's wealth came from sugar-cane land at the Santa Isabel Plantation in Puerto Rico.

Contemporary paintings and photographs are part of the interiors, including work by Guillem Nadal and Jordi Alcaráz. Furniture by Antonio Citterio and Jaime Hayón appears alongside them. Original paintings were selected for guest rooms as well as other hotel areas.

The architecture gives different parts of the hotel distinct roles. Quadrat occupies the former stables; the gym is in the old cistern; the former watchtower and its dovecote became a guest room. Guests encounter the building's past through spaces that still have a practical purpose.

The 42 rooms and suites vary with the mansion's layout. Wooden beams, restored frescoes, and contemporary art appear in the collection, while outlooks include the square, garden, and Majorcan courtyard.

Superior rooms measure 25 square meters, with some looking toward the garden or courtyard. Superior and Deluxe categories occupy the ground, first, and second floors. Deluxe rooms can face the garden, courtyard, or Plaza Sant Francesc. Privilege rooms measure 35 square meters, and some have a balcony.

The 40-square-meter Singular Junior Suite has a bathtub; some examples have a balcony overlooking olive trees in the courtyard. The two Sant Francesc Junior Suites form a separate 35-square-meter category on the main floor. Their French balconies look across the square to the basilica, bringing the architecture outside into the room's view.

La Torre Studio occupies three levels within a 60-square-meter space and has an outdoor whirlpool tub with a panoramic outlook. The Sant Francesc Suite also measures 60 square meters but stays close to the mansion's original detail: restored 19th-century frescoes and two French balconies facing the square and basilica.

Quadrat Restaurant & Garden opens from Plaza Sant Francesc and is arranged across three areas, including a garden and terrace. Its place in the former stables adds another layer to the mansion's conversion. Stone, planting, and the street entrance give the dining spaces their own physical character.

The kitchen works with local and Mediterranean produce, quality seasonal ingredients, and a contemporary approach to classic recipes. It also draws occasional flavors from outside the region. A tasting menu is part of Quadrat's dining offer. Breakfast is served here as well.

The Lobby Bar occupies the Majorcan courtyard. Original architectural features remain visible among contemporary design, works of art, and olive trees. Cocktails include classics and drinks created by the bar team; wines, champagnes, and cavas round out the selection. Snacks and aperitifs are prepared by the hotel's kitchen. The space also hosts social gatherings and work meetings.

Quadrat Boardroom seats up to 20 people and has meeting technology. The courtyard Lobby Bar also hosts less formal work gatherings. For private events, the hotel offers its rooftop, Majorcan courtyard, and Quadrat garden as possible settings. Luggage storage, parking, and transfer services are available; parking and transfers carry an additional charge. Room service is also available.

The Singular Rooftop Terrace measures 200 square meters. It has an outdoor pool, sundeck, loungers, and a snack and cocktail bar. Towels are provided on the roof. From above Plaza Sant Francesc, the view reaches across Palma's rooftops toward the cathedral. The roof gives the hotel an open-air space at the top of the old-town mansion.

The fitness room occupies the mansion's former water cistern. Technogym equipment, free weights, and a TRX kit fill a space with a much older purpose. Headphones, towels, and water are provided. The original cistern still defines the room, even as its use has changed.

The Wellbeing area has treatment cabins for massages and beauty treatments. Anne Semonin skincare forms part of the treatment offering, including preparations that combine trace elements and essential oils. The French firm also develops personalized beauty programs.

From the front door, the route through Palma's old quarter can take in the cathedral, the Almudaina, and La Lonja on foot. Museums, art galleries, shops, and restaurants are also within walking distance. The hotel remains anchored to Plaza Sant Francesc, where the church and surrounding lanes give every departure a clear point of return.

The hotel offers bicycle rental and private guided cycling tours from Palma. Its cycling service includes standard and electric bikes, with local guides for routes across Mallorca. One ride heads toward Valldemossa and Esporles through Coll d'en Claret, a 47-kilometer route with 627 meters of elevation. Another reaches Banyalbufar and Estellencs by mountain roads above the coast, covering 87 kilometers with 1,471 meters of elevation.
