Location
The Como Maalifushi sits on the coral island Thaa Atoll in the Indian Ocean. Guests can reach there by a 60-minute seaplane ride from Malé airport. This seaplane transfer is in itself a fantastic experience. In addition, the plane offers an aerial view of the atoll below. A spectacular sight to behold is a vast expanse of turquoise water with a ring-shaped reef in the middle.
Thaa Atoll contains more than 60 islands, and almost all of them are unoccupied. You can explore these uninhabited islands and their natural beaches. Furthermore, the crystal clear water of the surrounding house reef is teeming with marine life. Guests can spot sand perch, pufferfish, lionfish, butterflyfish, baby blacktip reef sharks, etc.
