Kyle Phillips designed the resort's 45 holes: two championship 18-hole courses and a nine-hole par-three Executive course. Verdura East Links has narrow fairways, while Verdura West Shore builds toward a finish beside the sea. Having two full courses makes a multi-day golf stay more varied, and the shorter course leaves room in the schedule for other plans. The choice is useful for a party whose members have different levels of enthusiasm for a full round.
The Golf Academy supports both beginners and experienced players, with PGA-qualified coaching and a performance center using tools including Trackman and SAM PuttLab. Lessons can focus on a specific part of the game rather than requiring a whole holiday to revolve around instruction. A double-ended driving range has covered bays, and three short-game areas provide space to practice before returning to the courses. Club-fitting facilities add another reason for a committed golfer to spend time away from the first tee.
Verdura has 153 bedrooms, 15 Junior Suites and 35 suites, totaling 203 rooms and suites, with 20 private villas in addition. A Deluxe Room measures 40 square meters, or 431 square feet, and has a sea-facing balcony, a king bed that can be arranged as twins, and a bathroom with a separate bathtub and walk-in shower. These rooms also connect with Junior Suites, making them relevant for families who want adjoining accommodation while retaining distinct rooms for adults and children.
A Superior Deluxe Room has the same floor area, but sits on the ground floor of a courtyard building, with a patio leading toward the lawn. That changes the way you use the outdoor space rather than simply increasing the size of the bedroom. For more interior room, the 60-square-meter Junior Suite adds space while retaining a private balcony. Its published occupancy is two guests plus one.
The three- and four-bedroom private pool villas are the more residential option for a larger family or friends traveling together. The distinction is particularly useful when the pool itself is part of the accommodation decision. A group can spend time outside at its own villa, while still building days around the wider resort. There are also pool suites, so a private swimming pool does not require choosing a villa by default.
Selected rooms and suites have interiors by Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen, using natural stone, wood, linen and ceramics. These finishes do not extend to every category. Compare photographs and the floor plan for the accommodation you are reserving, especially if a particular interior style is important to the stay.
The main outdoor pool is 60 meters long, while the spa has a separate 20-meter indoor lap pool. Tennis players have six floodlit clay courts, with two padel courts providing another option away from the water.
Irene Forte Spa spans 4,000 square meters and includes 11 treatment rooms, one of them a double. Four outdoor thalassotherapy pools use seawater, alongside sauna, steam and infrared facilities. The current spa also includes a medi-spa treatment room and the Forte Vita Bar for shorter facial, hair and nail appointments, alongside a massage and body-treatment menu.
The current spa brochure welcomes guests over 16. Selected children's treatments are mentioned separately in the family program, on request and with adult supervision; that does not establish general access to the spa pools. For exercise without a treatment appointment, the gym opens around the clock. Indoor and outdoor fitness sessions include Pilates and yoga, giving non-golfers ways to plan an active morning of their own.
Verdùland has a children's pool, playground and indoor play space, with activities that range across cooking, crafts and sports. Rocco Forte Kids distinguishes babies aged zero to three, children aged four to twelve, and teenagers aged thirteen to sixteen. Baby supervision carries babysitting fees. The children's and teens' clubs operate in high season, an important distinction for families considering a spring or fall visit. Babysitting and connecting rooms are available on request, allowing the practical arrangements to follow the ages of the children rather than a single model of a family holiday.
Amare keeps the beachfront central to dinner, with fish served grilled or as crudo. A cooking station makes preparation part of the setting, and the terrace bar provides a place for an aperitif before dinner. The restaurant publishes an April-to-October dinner season, with availability varying through those months. A stay at either end of the season therefore needs some flexibility in its dining plans.
Liolà has the character of a Sicilian trattoria and pizzeria, using seasonal local ingredients in a seafront setting. It suits a family meal when a more informal style is welcome. Zagara takes a fine-dining approach to Italian cooking, with ingredients from the resort's garden and a wine list drawn from Sicily and the rest of Italy. These are different reasons to sit down for dinner, without needing a lengthy excursion from the resort.
Daytime arrangements are equally practical. Buongiorno is the breakfast restaurant, Ondina serves poolside lunches, and L'Osteria is an all-day restaurant and wine bar. Nagori brings Japanese cooking together with Sicilian ingredients. For an aperitif, the current choices include Scirocco Bar and Sunset Bar. At dinner, the hotel recommends smart-casual clothing and discourages sportswear, shorts and beach shoes in its restaurants.
This is a countryside resort, with Sciacca about a 15-minute drive away. Palermo and Trapani airports are each around 80 minutes away by car, according to the hotel's published estimates, with traffic affecting the journey. Agrigento is approximately 40 minutes away. Its Valley of the Temples, including the fifth-century BC temples of Concordia and Juno, belongs in the itinerary as a planned outing, not a walk from the hotel. Allow time for the site itself as well as the drive, particularly when combining a visit with dinner back at Verdura.
During high season, Verdùland offers supervised cooking, crafts and sports, giving children different ways to spend their days beyond the beach.
Four seawater pools at Irene Forte Spa make bathing part of the stay, offering a slower alternative to the resort's active pursuits.
Six floodlit clay tennis courts allow games to continue after sunset, leaving daylight hours available for the beach or exploring Sicily.
