Jumeirah Capri Palace brings contemporary art and Mediterranean dining to Anacapri, on the island of Capri. The hotel has 72 rooms and suites on Via Capodimonte. Mount Solaro rises behind it, with the Gulf of Naples beyond. Art appears in reception, beside the pool and in selected suites. You can dine at L'Olivo or rooftop Zuma, or spend an afternoon at Capri Medical Spa. Anacapri's lanes and nearby Villa San Michele invite time outside the hotel.

The White Museum is a collection spread through the hotel, rather than a gallery confined to one room. By the pool, Arnaldo Pomodoro's Rive dei Mari stretches for 40 meters. Its fiberglass forms suggest a seabed. Below the water is a mosaic floor by Velasco Vitali. Giorgio de Chirico's 1960 painting Ettore e Andromaca hangs in reception. Fabrizio Plessi's Azzurra reworks a traditional double-prowed boat once used at the Blue Grotto. Near the sliding doors stands a helmet by Mimmo Paladino. A painting by Allen Jones hangs above the bar. The island and its sea remain part of the art as well as the view.
The outdoor pool is heated. Patricia Urquiola's design links the pool bar, Bar degli Artisti and a lounge terrace through a Caprese garden. Palladian flooring, rattan and glazed terracotta bring texture to these spaces. Custom marble furnishings echo nearby Villa San Michele.
The Classic Room measures 25 square meters for two adults, with a king bed or twins on request. This garden-view category has a balcony facing Mount Solaro and a marble bathroom. The Terrace Suite takes a different direction. Patricia Urquiola's design uses bamboo furniture and opens onto a private terrace overlooking the pool. It measures 72 square meters and has a king bed. It sleeps up to three adults, or two adults and one child aged eleven or younger.
The Art Suite Sea Side carries the hotel's interest in painting into a 50-square-meter layout. Its colors and design draw on Kandinsky, Mondrian and Miró. White stone floors run through the large living room, and views face the Bay of Naples. A king bed or twin beds can be arranged. Two suites can connect on request. This category sleeps up to three adults, or two adults with a child aged eleven or younger.
Garden Suites with Private Pool range from 46 to 70 square meters. Their outlook is toward planted grounds, with a private garden and heated pool outside. Interiors vary between art-inspired designs and wenge wood furnishings. King or twin beds are available on request, and connecting arrangements can create a two-bedroom suite. The category accommodates three adults or two adults and one child aged eleven or younger.
L'Olivo holds two Michelin stars and serves Mediterranean cuisine under Andrea Migliaccio. Soft lighting sets the tone for dinner, with smart-casual dress and guests of all ages welcome. The same restaurant serves breakfast, bringing a more informal start to a room known for its evening cooking. It is the main hotel's fine-dining address, alongside the bar and pool spaces.
Zuma Capri occupies the rooftop, looking across the Gulf of Naples toward Ischia. Its Japanese izakaya approach centers on dishes shared at the table, prepared by the sushi counter, robata grill and main kitchen. Black cod wrapped in hoba leaf and roasted lobster with shiso ponzu butter are among the signatures. Capri-specific dishes bring local lemon into lobster carpaccio with caviar and into lemon mochi. The rooftop offers a distinctly different dinner from L'Olivo, in both the cooking and the open-air setting.
After dinner, NOX CAPRI adds music and live performances to Anacapri's evening choices. The venue was designed by Antonio Girardi. Its seasonal program brings together visiting artists and cultural gatherings.
Il Riccio is a separate coastal restaurant and beach club near the Blue Grotto, not a beach adjoining the Anacapri hotel. Mediterranean seafood is served at the water's edge, with lunch daily and dinner on selected evenings. Children are welcome at the restaurant. Beach-club sunbeds and transport from the hotel are subject to availability. Nearby on the coast, a-Ma-Re Capri serves Neapolitan dishes. A day at Il Riccio therefore involves planning the journey down to the coast and back. Reserve lunch and beach-club arrangements separately, since a restaurant table does not by itself establish access to a sunbed.
The spa brings together face and body treatments, medical services and beauty care. It has an indoor pool, a steam room and sauna. Massages, facials, manicures and pedicures are available, along with LED therapy and Aqualab III equipment. The menu includes massages for couples and prenatal massage. Tailored nutrition programs also form part of the spa's work, alongside its treatments for the face and body.
Dr. Chantal Sciuto, a dermatologist, directs the spa. The signature Leg School treatment uses clay mud and cooling bandages. It was developed by the late Professor Francesco Canonaco. The spa team arranges these appointments as part of its treatment program. Spa access is for guests aged 16 and over, though families with younger children can stay at the hotel. Capri Fitness has Technogym cardio and strength machines, plus free weights. The fitness room is open 24 hours a day.
From Anacapri, Monte Solaro can be reached by chairlift or on foot. Villa San Michele, once the home of Swedish physician and writer Axel Munthe, has gardens overlooking the gulf and lies a short stroll from the village center. Between these outings are artisan workshops, courtyards and small piazzas. The hotel's position on Via Capodimonte makes Anacapri the immediate setting for a stay, rather than Capri town's Piazzetta.
For guests flying into Naples, the journey continues through Naples harbor before reaching Capri. The hotel can coordinate arrival and departure transport at Marina Grande, subject to availability, for the onward drive to Anacapri. This is a seasonal hotel. Check its operating calendar before combining the stay with flights and ferry crossings. The mainland arrival, sea crossing and final island transfer are separate parts of the journey; allow time between them rather than treating the airport-to-hotel trip as a single drive.
L'Olivo's cooking draws on Campanian seafood, handmade pasta and citrus. Dinner explores regional flavours in a restaurant focused on fine dining.
Works by artists including Giorgio de Chirico and Keith Haring appear throughout the interiors, so browsing art becomes part of your stay.
The spa's heated indoor pool and steam rooms offer another way to unwind when you want a break from sunbathing outside.

Yes. Jumeirah Capri Palace is worth it if you want a refined Anacapri hotel with serious dining and wellness. The hotel has 68 rooms and suites, Capri Medical Spa, L'Olivo, Il Riccio, a pool, and a calm island setting.
Jumeirah Capri Palace is located in Anacapri, on the quieter side of Capri island. The location is close to Monte Solaro, Villa San Michele, the Blue Grotto area, and local Anacapri streets.
Jumeirah Capri Palace has 68 rooms and suites, giving it a more intimate feel than a large resort. The size suits travelers who want a polished Capri stay with strong service, privacy, and a slower rhythm.
Book a sea-view room or suite if views and outdoor space are important to your Capri stay. Suites are best for longer stays, special occasions, or travelers who want a more residential island feeling.
Jumeirah Capri Palace is in Anacapri, not in the busy centre of Capri town. This is a good fit if you prefer a quieter base with easy access to views, restaurants, and island excursions.
