Its larger living room and mountain-view balcony make it a more spacious shared base.

Chantemerle occupies the fifth and top floor, with 68 square meters, a balcony and a second bedroom with twin beds for children. A bath and separate shower-hammam serve the apartment. Its appeal lies in the family sleeping arrangement and elevated setting, rather than simply offering more floor space than every suite.

Montmayeur is a different proposition: a 200-square-meter penthouse for eight, with four bedrooms and four private bathrooms. A double-sided fireplace divides the living and dining rooms, and a kitchenette supports the residential layout. Mountain and village views extend the sense of space. Each bedroom's own bathroom helps a larger party share the apartment without sharing every part of its routine.

Chalet Schuss stands a few steps from the hotel and has direct access to the slopes. Across two floors, its 250 square meters contain four bedrooms, each with a bathroom and dressing room, plus a separate kitchen. A dedicated chef, butler and housekeeping team support the residence. The outdoor Norwegian bath adds a private place to unwind, while guests retain access to the hotel's spa, restaurants and ski room.

The 1,200-square-meter Airelles Spa by Guerlain includes a 20-meter indoor pool, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and sensory showers. Arches and exposed wooden beams continue the hotel's architectural character around the water, with loungers for time between swims. A dedicated children's pool takes the form of a secret grotto, giving younger guests their own aquatic setting.

Guerlain facials and body treatments sit alongside a gym equipped with Technogym cardio and strength-training machines. The combination gives non-skiers a substantial part of the hotel to use during the day. For couples whose appetite for skiing differs, time in the pool or a treatment offers an alternative without leaving the property.

La Grande Ourse is a few steps away, an Airelles restaurant in a traditional Alpine chalet. Fondue, raclette and croziflette anchor its Savoyard menu. Carved wood, a stone fireplace and a terrace overlooking the slopes keep the setting closely connected to the resort. It is the local-food option within the hotel's wider dining collection.

Inside the hotel, Palladio brings an Italian direction with Venetian influences. Local wood detailing and plush plaids soften its trattoria atmosphere, while the terrace looks toward the Tarentaise peaks. It provides a change of cuisine without abandoning the mountain setting, particularly for guests who want something other than another Savoyard cheese dinner.

Matsuhisa takes a more contemporary approach, serving Nobu Matsuhisa's Japanese-Peruvian cooking in a room with red velvet seating.
