Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park

A well-reputed hotel in London that offers excellent service is the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. The hotel is located in the heart of the metropolitan city, providing easy access to guests searching for a peaceful place to spend quality time.

After an extensive multi-million restoration, this magnificent hotel is re-imagined and re-invented so that the visitors seem awestruck by its timeless beauty.

The Mandarin Oriental is the perfect blend of glorious heritage and contemporary flair, offering impeccable service and essential amenities. After two years of thorough refurbishment led by the internationally renowned designer Joyce Wang, this luxurious hotel has taken up a completely different look.

The renovation is not just limited to the rooms. Other parts of the hotel like the restaurant, Spa, lobby and Mandarin Bar have also been redesigned. Moreover, the new designs are by the ever-lasting beauty of the neighboring Hyde Park and the glamorous 20th-century Golden Age of Travel.

The mesmerizing "Spa at the Mandarin Oriental" and "Bar Boulud" redesign and the hotel's destination restaurants were all overseen by the esteemed New York design expert, Adam D Tihany.

Previously, the Mandarin Oriental hotel rooms were adorned and draped in the classic English form, which was considerably at odds with Mandarin's usual sleek and oriental aura.

However, after the transforming renovation, each room offers a light, peaceful atmosphere, built with Art Deco touches on the bedside tables and the wardrobes. Moreover, they are complemented by pale colors, silver, and etched glass.

The rooms have comfortable beds, each covered with Irish linen and goose-down pillows. Furthermore, the rooms have designer bathroom products and a fresh orchid.

Each room at Mandarin Oriental London Hyde Park has decorations, such as large mirrors and fine-looking wallpapers, that make you feel at home. The rooms also have decently-sized balconies that offer splendid views of the Queen's cavalry in the early mornings.

The rooms are insulated to maintain the highest level of comfort for the guests. In addition, it adds to the tranquility and ambiance of the rooms, offering an unforgettable experience to the occupants.

The ones facilitating the view of Hyde Park are slightly heavier on the pocket. However, the wonderful feeling of waking up in the countryside makes up for it.

The bathrooms stand parallel to the rooms in their elegance and modern design. The Mandarin Oriental hotel's bathrooms are spacious and marble-clad, each containing a bathtub with a rainfall showerhead.

Additionally, porcelain-detailed antique fixtures, magnifying mirrors, heated towel racks, and double console sinks held by shiny chrome legs are in some. The visitors can bathe with the classic Ormonde Jayne bath products and cuddle up in warm terry-cloth bathrobes afterward.

The Mandarin attracts many business people and leisure travelers, all looking for a place that is an ideal combination of luxury and beauty. The Mandarin Oriental hotel surpasses their expectations. It features modern rooms and several other stunning spaces, including the lobby.

This urban oasis houses a triple-arched walk-in area leading to a palatial lobby. The walls have smoky charcoal columns encased in gold scrollwork. Moreover, the passageways boast detailed stonework in geometric patterns.

The colorful, refreshing breakfast room offers excellent views of Hyde Park, brightening your day in seconds. The hotel's massive terrace includes tables for alfresco dining in pleasant weather.

In the afternoons, energetic shoppers and tourists from the close-by Sloane Street boutiques fill The Roseberry Lounge for high tea, attracted by the mouthwatering smell wafting through the air. The dining space was made in the 1920s, filled with loden low-back green seats and a cozy, crackling fireplace.

The Mandarin Oriental hotel Bar vibrates with energized beats, inviting everyone to a sleek, darkly-lit setting, complementing the dark leather upholstery that designed the bar. The bar defines exciting nightlife, offering various cocktails and live jazz until 2 am.

Another equally modern space is the Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, decorated by espresso tables, pained windows, and suede leather chairs.

Walk downstairs and enter Bar Boulder, London's only restaurant run by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud. The bar has the classic feel of an old French bistro, featuring a zinc bar, rough yet stylish wood floors, and herb terra-cotta pots scattered worldwide.

The Michelin Star restaurant brings together striking contemporary presentation and delicious European cuisine, flavored by only fresh seasonal ingredients. The restaurant provides vibrant and casual all-day dining with splendid surroundings and an incredible view of the park.

Among its numerous amenities is the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel's Spa. The Spa is a rare blend of the East and West flair, offering a haven of tranquility and peace.

Once you enter, there is no going back. Engulfed in hypnotic aroma and managed by expert masseurs, one forgets all worries and troubles in this relaxing space.

Designed to meet each individual's requirements, the Spa boasts its services based upon exotic therapies practiced only in world-class settings worldwide.

Services and Facilities

The excellent Mandarin Oriental Hotel has an equally wonderful staff, led by Amanda Hyndman. She was previously the Mandarin Hotels' manager in Bangkok and Washington. Besides, the service is no less than exceptional because the exemplary staff always smiles and strives to provide you with the best.

The guests are welcomed with soothing lemongrass tea and hot flannel. Under Amanda Hyndman's valuable guidance, the hotel's staff is also involved in charity work.

This excellent residence houses a 17-meter pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Both allow you to socialize and stay fit while enjoying your vacation.

Moreover, the Mandarin Oriental hotel has a beautiful ballroom. This is where the famous Queen and Princess Margaret learned to dance back in the 1930s, taught by Madam Vacani.
