Hamiltons International was responsible for the architecture, while Jean-Michel Gathy created the hotel interiors. Reflecting pools, gardens and connected courtyards soften the transition between inside and outside. The buildings step through different heights rather than presenting a single tower, giving the riverfront a series of distinct places to sit, swim and dine. The hotel has 299 accommodations, divided into 282 guest rooms and 17 suites. The neighboring private residences are a separate part of the development.

Art also matters here. Gathy curated works throughout the hotel, while ART Space by MOCA Bangkok brings a dedicated gallery into the property through a partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art Bangkok. Its changing exhibitions focus on Thai contemporary artists. The gallery gives a stay a direct connection to local creative work without requiring a separate museum outing.

Deluxe Rooms, Deluxe Palm Court Rooms and the Deluxe and Premier River-View categories all measure 50 square meters. Their different outlooks are therefore more important than a change in floor area. King and twin-bed configurations are available in these categories, with space for up to three guests. A river-view reservation makes sense when watching the Chao Phraya is a priority; a Palm Court category looks into a different part of the hotel.

The king-bedded Premier Balcony Room increases the space to 64 square meters and adds outdoor seating. Families can look at the Four Seasons Family Room, measuring 77 to 80 square meters and accommodating two adults and two children. Executive Suites are larger again, at 110 to 125 square meters, with separate living and sleeping areas. The range allows guests to choose a layout around the people traveling, rather than rely on a view upgrade to provide extra space.

The Riverside Terrace Suite combines a living room with a private rooftop terrace facing the river. Its published area of 238 to 248 square meters covers a substantial indoor-outdoor arrangement in the Cascade Wing. A king bed and provision for an extra bed or crib allow up to three adults or two adults and two children. The bathroom includes a tub and separate shower. The terrace is the reason to consider this category for a longer visit: it provides room for an evening outside without returning to the shared restaurant and pool areas.

The Riverfront Penthouse is a three-bedroom option with two king beds and two twin beds. Across 450 square meters, it includes three full bathrooms, double-height ceilings and a rooftop terrace with a private pool. A dining room seats ten, with a living room and study extending the gathering space. For families traveling together, that combination makes meals and evenings possible in the suite while keeping the bedrooms separate. The scale is quite different from the one-bedroom terrace suites.

Two outdoor infinity pools face the Chao Phraya, with a separate children's pool for younger guests. The riverfront pools are part of the social side of the hotel, with poolside dining for a light lunch or refreshments. The 35-meter lap pool belongs to the fitness facilities, offering a more focused place to swim. Separating those uses gives guests a choice between settling beside the water and keeping up a regular swimming routine.

The Urban Wellness Centre occupies 2,500 square meters over two floors around the Palm Courtyard. Its nine treatment rooms include two couples' rooms and a spa suite. Traditional Thai massage, herbal compress treatments, body care and facials form part of the menu. Steam facilities and vitality pools add time beyond the treatment room. The Thai influence comes through the techniques and ingredients, alongside the contemporary design of the bathing spaces.

The Health Club has Technogym cardio and strength equipment in a naturally lit gym. A dedicated boxing ring hosts Muay Thai sessions, while yoga and other movement classes provide alternatives to working out alone. Personal training is available. The breadth of facilities is useful on a longer Bangkok stay, especially when an outdoor run is less appealing than an indoor session or a swim.

Riva del Fiume Ristorante serves Italian cooking, with handmade pasta and wood-fired Neapolitan pizza beside the river. Brasserie Palmier takes a French direction, including seafood and an oyster bar, with indoor and outdoor seating among tropical planting. These are different settings as well as different cuisines, so dining at the hotel need not mean returning to the same kind of meal.

Yu Ting Yuan focuses on Cantonese cooking. An open show kitchen brings dim sum, barbecue and Peking duck into view, while private dining rooms offer a more contained setting for a group. The Lounge is a less formal stop for afternoon tea or an all-day meal. Cafe Madeleine adds pastries and coffee by the river, and in-room dining is available around the clock. BKK Social Club gives the hotel a distinct cocktail address. Its Mexico City-inspired menu draws on places, people and celebrations, with tequila and mezcal among the spirits used in the drinks. Cocktails are accompanied by bar food, wines, Champagne and a cigar selection. The bar welcomes guests aged 20 and older, so it serves a different audience from the family dining spaces elsewhere in the hotel. It is worth treating as an evening destination, rather than simply a place to wait before dinner.

Life by the River Kids' Club welcomes children aged four to 12, with games, crafts and stories in themed areas. A separate children's pool adds another place for play. The hotel also offers Muay Thai activities for ages six to 12, giving older children an introduction to a Thai sport. Babysitting is available with advance notice, and cribs, high chairs and bottle warmers can be requested. Specialty rooms and suites can also have a children's tent arranged, adding a familiar play space inside the accommodation.

The hotel is at 300/1 Charoen Krung Road. Shuttle boats run to ICONSIAM and Sathorn Pier, with a connection to the BTS at Saphan Taksin. Guests can also walk to the station in about 15 minutes. Riverboats and road transfers open up visits to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Chinatown, while Charoen Krung itself brings galleries, dining and street life into the surrounding district.

Allow around 40 minutes by car for the 37-kilometer journey from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, and longer in heavy traffic. Don Mueang Airport is around 28 kilometers away. For travelers who favor Bangkok's river districts over an address inside a shopping complex, the pier and waterfront setting are central reasons to stay here.
