Ngurah Rai International Airport is less than 15 kilometers away, although Bali traffic can make the journey feel longer than the distance suggests. Once here, much of the stay can revolve around the beach and nearby streets rather than long drives. It is not a remote Bali hideaway. The hotel has the facilities of a resort, but its location also leaves room for dinner elsewhere or an afternoon among Seminyak's shops.

Dining is led by Seasalt, the resort's signature restaurant. Wild-caught and sustainably harvested seafood from Indonesian waters anchors its sourcing approach, while the wider dining offer draws on Balinese, Japanese and Mediterranean flavors. The restaurant resembles a seaside residence, with an open kitchen and outdoor decks that keep meals connected to the ocean. Its setting gives dinner a different feel from the restaurants on Seminyak's busy streets.

Kusamba sea salt is central to the cooking. Produced on East Bali's volcanic coast using sun and wind evaporation, it gives the restaurant a tangible connection to local food traditions. Salt-crusted and salt-baked fish sit alongside grilled seafood and comfort dishes on the dinner menu. Seasalt's identity rests on these ingredients and techniques as much as on its beach views.

Beach Bar has a looser rhythm, with cocktails, cold beers and lounge seating beside the Main Pool. Thin-crust pizzas and Mediterranean bites suit an afternoon that runs into sunset, with beach music adding to the social atmosphere. In-room dining covers familiar dishes such as burgers, steamed buns, pizzas and pasta. Together, the three options give the resort different ways to eat without making every meal a formal restaurant occasion.

Spa Alila brings a quieter focus through therapeutic massage and personalized rituals in a contemporary setting. The signature Alila Seminyak Massage sits alongside treatments drawing on older wellness traditions. Massage is one part of a wider wellness offering, with movement activities elsewhere in the resort.

The fitness center includes a gym and the Movement Studio, a light-filled space for yoga and mindful practice. Morning yoga and mat Pilates feature among the resort activities. Outside, the Main Pool connects to Beach Bar, while the Serene Pool and Family Pool offer other settings within the grounds.
