Santa Marina Beach is a stretch of golden sand that slopes gradually into clear water. The cove is protected from the Mykonian winds, and Buddha-Bar Beach sits just above it.

Oasis Pool lies above the beach. The seawater infinity pool has four cabanas positioned at its edge, with light cuisine and cocktails served nearby. Its elevated position gives the water a view across the bay, while the sand remains below.

Reef Boutique is on Santa Marina's private beach. It carries resort wear by Greek and international designers, placing a retail space beside the sand.

The Resort Room measures approximately 20 square meters. Its balcony has a side sea view and outdoor dining for two, while the bathroom has a walk-in shower. A king, queen, or two twin beds are offered within this named category. The room also has a Nespresso machine and ESPA bath amenities.

Villa Lapis Lazuli is a three-bedroom, two-level hillside villa. Its interior measures 241 square meters, with 158 square meters of exterior space. The sea-view terrace contains an infinity pool, outdoor lounge, dining area, and sun chairs. The exterior floor area extends the villa's living spaces around its private pool.

At Villa Lapis Lazuli, the ground floor holds a lounge, dining area, kitchen, and guest bathroom. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator and Nespresso machine. Two en-suite bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with twins, open directly onto the pool terrace. The master bedroom occupies the upper floor, where it has two balconies, a walk-in closet, and its own bathroom.

Villa Pearl has a different footprint: 156 square meters inside and 135 square meters outdoors. This three-bedroom villa stands on two levels and looks across the Aegean from a clifftop position. An oval private pool anchors its terrace, alongside outdoor lounge and dining space. Sun chairs are also part of its sea-view terrace.

Pearl's en-suite master bedroom is on the ground floor with the living room, dining area, kitchen, and guest bathroom. Upstairs are two further en-suite bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with twin beds, each with a balcony and sea view. A fully equipped kitchen and full-size refrigerator are named among Pearl's facilities.

Buddha-Bar Beach Mykonos sits just above Santa Marina's private beach. Seafood and Asian influences meet Mediterranean and Greek flavors on its menu. Cocktails and music are part of the restaurant's atmosphere, with DJs associated with sunset. The restaurant's position above the sand connects its dining space directly to the cove.

Elais Restaurant looks toward a Mediterranean garden and the blue beyond it. Its kitchen centers on Greek cuisine with Mediterranean influences, while the wine selection includes Greek and international bottles. The name refers to Elais, a princess of Delos and granddaughter of Apollo in the restaurant's account, giving the dining room a specific island reference.

Ginkgo Spa has four treatment rooms, including a couples suite. A hammam, sauna, steam bath, and hair and nail salon occupy its wellness facilities, while facial and body treatments are offered.

The gym is equipped with Technogym equipment and a Pilates reformer bed. It is part of the Ginkgo Spa offering, alongside the treatment rooms and bathing facilities.

The resort's roots are in a plot Elias Papageorgiou bought in 1979. It already held a house, windmill, pigeon house, guesthouse, and the Santa Marina chapel that gave the hotel its name. He renovated the existing buildings and added a road and pool before the first group of twelve bungalows, numbered 101 to 112, opened in 1986. Those bungalows ranged from one to three bedrooms.

In 1989 Papageorgiou acquired adjoining peninsula land, creating access to a private beach. A tennis court and another pool followed on that land. The main Santa Marina building opened in 1994 with twenty rooms; two more main buildings, each with twenty rooms, were added in 1998 and 1999. Santa Marina joined The Luxury Collection in 1999, later becoming part of Marriott when it acquired Starwood.

Christiana Papageorgiou took over the hotel after her father's death in 2012. She later worked with interior designer Silvina Macipe Krontiras on the resort's renovation and development. Eighty rooms and suites were renovated in 2014, when the gardens were also landscaped. Oasis Pool, Ginkgo Spa, and suites with private pools followed in the 2016 renovation.
