Bodin's design uses clean lines and broad windows, with warm wood softening the stone and glass. It is modern without relying on heavy decoration. Outside, Jean Mus's garden brings olive trees, Florentine cypress and stone pines around the terraces. Rockroses, myrtles and immortelles fill out the planting along the hillside. Paths lead through this landscape toward the pool and sea, so the garden is part of moving through the hotel, not simply a border around it.

Casadelmar has 34 rooms and suites, including the private villa's three suites. In the main room collection, interiors range from 35 to 75 square meters. Superior Double Rooms have 35 square meters, Executive Doubles 41 and Luxury Doubles 48. Each of these double-room categories has a 15-square-meter terrace facing the sea. The two Junior Suite categories offer 45 or 53 square meters indoors. Both have larger, 30-square-meter terraces.

Light wood, Bateig stone and softly colored curtains carry the same materials and tones inside. A Superior Double Room has an 180-centimeter bed. Its bathroom has a shower and bathtub, plus a separate toilet. Some of these rooms can connect to a suite. Coffee from the Nespresso machine can be taken outside, where the terrace puts the gulf into view without leaving your room.

The Superior and Executive Suites each measure 62 square meters, while the Luxury Suite offers 75. All three categories have 30-square-meter terraces. The Luxury Suite has a 200-centimeter bed and a lounge with a daybed. A connecting bedroom can be arranged, extending the accommodation for a family stay. The lounge and terrace provide separate places to sit indoors and outside, with the bay remaining the shared outlook.

Set within the Mediterranean garden, the private villa contains three suites over two levels. On the ground floor, a 120-square-meter suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It opens onto a 150-square-meter terrace beside an 18-meter private pool. Upstairs are two further suites, measuring 75 and 61 square meters, each with its own 20-square-meter terrace. All three suites face the sea, and the villa has direct access to the water.

The layout gives the ground floor a substantial outdoor gathering space, while the upper suites retain their own terraces. Contemporary furnishings follow the hotel's style, with the garden surrounding the building. A private chef or butler can be arranged for a villa stay, and treatments can also be organized there. The villa remains part of Casadelmar, with access to the hotel's restaurants and other services.

Le Casadelmar holds two Michelin stars and is led by Italian chef Fabio Bragagnolo. His cooking draws on Corsica and Italy, bringing the island's produce into a menu shaped by the Mediterranean. The restaurant sits above the gulf, giving the meal a setting tied closely to the coast. The approach is precise, but the ingredients keep a clear regional identity, from local seafood to Corsican cheeses.

Tasting menus sit alongside a la carte dishes, with seasonal combinations such as brocciu-filled cappelletti with flowers and an aromatic herb infusion, or red mullet paired with fennel. Nustrale pork has appeared with rosemary, carrots, aged plums and Cervione hazelnuts. These examples illustrate the kitchen's approach rather than a fixed menu for every stay. The combinations show the dialogue between Italian forms and Corsican ingredients, with pasta, fish and island pork each taking a place at the table.

The menu also names the people behind the produce. Fish comes from Solenzara and Saint-Florent, cheese from Figari, and Marquiliani olive oil from Aghione. Pastry chef Claudio Pezzetti works alongside Bragagnolo. Although the kitchen emphasizes nearby sources, it also uses ingredients from farther afield.

Il Pontile occupies terraces that step down toward the sea under wisteria-covered pergolas. It is the hotel's more relaxed Mediterranean restaurant, serving lunch and dinner as well as providing a place for an aperitif. The shade, planting and water close to the tables give it a distinct outdoor setting. You can eat beside the gulf here without making the evening a tasting-menu occasion.

Dishes highlighted by the restaurant include blue-crab salad, raw fish dressed with olive oil and spaghetti with langoustine. Grilled fish and a Normandy beef rib widen the choice beyond lighter plates. The menu changes, but the emphasis stays on straightforward Mediterranean flavors and a meal shared on the waterfront terraces.

The main pool is heated according to the season. Sunbeds line its wooden terrace, with parasols for shade and the gulf beyond the pool's edge. A separate platform gives direct access to the sea. Water activities and boat outings can be arranged through the concierge. La Plage Casadelmar is a separate sister property; visits there are distinct from using this hotel's waterfront facilities.

The myBlend spa occupies 250 square meters and has four treatment cabins, including one for couples. Dark wood, Japanese fabrics and Medici marble give the interior a different texture from the bright terraces outside. A hammam, Finnish sauna and sensory shower sit alongside the treatment spaces. The fitness area looks across the gulf. Face and body treatments are available, and a signature treatment uses essential oils drawn from Corsican maquis plants. The garden plants behind this treatment include everlasting flowers, lavender, thyme, rosemary, mastic and sage, carrying the scents of the surrounding maquis into the spa.

Figari South Corsica Airport provides an arrival point for the onward road journey to Casadelmar on Route de Palombaggia. The hotel can arrange private transfers, and secure parking behind the building has charging points for electric and hybrid vehicles. The concierge also organizes outings to Palombaggia, leaving room to explore the surrounding coast as well as the hotel's own stretch of water.
