Upper Circle suites sit among the gardens, while Royal Circle suites cluster around the Great House and look through planting toward the sea. Ocean Front suites face the Caribbean. An Upper Circle suite measures 560 square feet. Its sitting room opens onto a private veranda with outdoor chaises; the bedroom has Egyptian cotton linen, goose-down pillows, and hand-printed fabrics. A ceiling fan serves the sitting room, though air-conditioning there is available only in some suites. Interconnecting rooms are available in this category.

Royal Circle suites also measure 560 square feet and have living areas with a sofa, desk, and armchair. Their private verandas look toward the gardens, with the sea beyond. Bedrooms can have a king bed or twins. Some Royal Circle bathrooms have both baths and showers; others have showers.

Ocean Front suites are on the ground or first floor, a few steps from the beach. Their living rooms have rattan furniture, hand-printed linens, and coral-stone floors, opening to shaded verandas. Each measures 560 square feet, with a separate bedroom and a bathroom with a shower.

The two Two Bedroom Suites offer about 1,300 square feet each. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and can be configured with king or twin beds. The larger bedroom has a separate living room; the smaller has a veranda living area with a minibar. These suites have both baths and showers.

Colleton occupies the first floor of the Great House. At 1,780 square feet, it combines a four-poster bedroom, dressing room, drawing room, and a bathroom with a bath and double shower. Outside, a covered terrace with rattan chaises accompanies an open terrace and a private plunge pool.

Camelot extends across two floors of the original Great House. A first-floor ocean-view veranda and a private rooftop terrace give it two different outdoor spaces. The suite measures 1,380 square feet and includes a four-poster bed, a bathroom with both bath and shower, and interiors redone by Soane Britain.

Mile & A Quarter sits apart from the other suites, overlooking the bay to the south. A private staircase reaches its large west-facing veranda, which has rattan seating and a dining area. The vaulted bedroom has a four-poster bed; a separate dressing room leads to a bathroom with twin basins, a bath, and a shower.

At 344 square feet, Mile & A Quarter is much smaller than the Great House suites, but its veranda is unusually generous. Its outdoor minibar includes a Nespresso machine. The suite is unsuitable for children or babies, and its bed cannot be divided into twins.

Design work throughout the hotel involves local carpenters, metalworkers, ceramicists, and basket weavers. Sam Godsal developed patterns for the textiles and restaurant chinaware with local designers. Caribbean art appears across the property, and the boutique carries island-made products alongside clothing and gifts created for Cobblers Cove.

The hotel harvests rainwater for its gardens and uses solar panels to heat water. The coral-stone Great House stands amid densely planted grounds with a wide range of species. The hotel's gardeners offer tours through the planting.

Cobblers Cove's restaurant sits by the sea and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its cooking emphasizes fresh local ingredients, and afternoon tea is another part of the dining day. A bar and poolside area provide a more casual setting, separate from the restaurant's evening dress expectations.

The setting changes with the meal: breakfast and lunch use the same waterfront position as dinner, while the terrace offers a more informal option. The restaurant welcomes island residents as well as hotel guests. In the evening, shorts are permitted in the outside terrace area.

Private dining has several defined locations. The seafront Lazy Bones Gazebo seats up to eight people. The gazebo is surrounded by scented jasmine and Lady of the Night. The North Patio leads from the Great House drawing room and seats up to 14. Beach dining is another option, with arrangements that can range from a small table to a larger gathering.

The beach and swimming pool are central parts of the grounds, with a water-sports hut supplying paddleboards, kayaks, snorkels, flippers, and small sailboats. Waterskiing and speedboat rides are also available. A pontoon may be anchored offshore when waves and tides permit.

On land, there is a gym and a floodlit tennis court. Personal training, yoga, Pilates, and dance sessions can be arranged. The Sea Moon Salon offers treatments using Ila Wellness products. Suite amenities made from island botanicals come from a maker less than five miles from the hotel.

Hawksbill turtles are native to Barbados and have been found in the bay near Cobblers Cove. Swimming with turtles and coastal boat trips are among the marine activities. Adults swim in the bay, and turtles hatch on the beaches by the hotel.

Speightstown is the nearby town on the west coast. Cobblers Cove's reservations team can arrange island taxi tours and guided heritage tours led by the Barbados National Trust.
