Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Turks and Caicos, is the only luxury resort on the island. Sailrock South Caicos, the only other luxury resort, is also the first to offer a spa and multiple dining choices. The design features highlight Taino culture. The resort is situated along 65 acres of South Caicos' coastline in Cockburn Harbour. Guests can fly to Providenciales. Then, they can catch a quick 18-minute InterCaribbean flight to South Caicos. This service is available on Thursdays and Saturdays via Caicos Express. New options will soon be available to make travel to South Caicos easier. American Airlines is launching direct flights from Miami to South Caicos. The resort also offers round-trip flights with EvoJets from the US, with transfers for VIPs to and from the resort.
The Spa services include massages, body masks, and facials. The spa also has a steam room and a salt sauna. Guided bonefishing and snorkeling tours let visitors enjoy the unique culture of South Caicos. On this tour, you can see eagle rays, turtles, and whales. This property uses local materials. Additionally, Jack & Jenny's food truck located by the pool is called Jack and Jenny. It was named for the Spanish donkeys that were imported during the height of the salt trade.
Salterra Turks and Caicos is also a private oasis for relaxation. There is a secluded, cocoa-colored oasis in the whitewashed building to the right of the hotel's main entrance. The spa at Salterra includes individual treatment rooms and couples' treatment rooms. It also has an aqua thermal center with a sauna, steam room, and salt room. The list of services is also extensive. However, you can try the 60-minute relaxing massage to soothe muscles.
The property features four pools, cabanas, and a hot tub. There are also plenty of beaches. Macori Boutique offers an array of handcrafted items.
