Grand Renaissance Rooms offer a different appeal. At 40 to 47 square meters, they have high ceilings, Czech paneling, hand-painted decorative details and a Bohemian crystal chandelier. They face the historic city or the Monastery of the Knights of the Cross, rather than the river. With a king bed and space for a rollaway or crib, the category accommodates up to three adults or two adults and one child. It brings more architectural character and flexibility for a small family without requiring a suite.

A 75-square-meter River Suite separates the bedroom from the living area and adds a guest powder room beside the full marble bathroom. Here, too, the castle or bridge perspective depends on the suite's position. Some have traditional windows, while others open the view through broader glazing. The separate sitting room makes a difference when one person wants to read or work after the other has gone to bed.

For a larger group, the four-bedroom Riverside Villa occupies 370 square meters within the hotel's historic riverfront setting and includes the Royal Suite. Private building access, a pantry and four full bathrooms support a more independent household arrangement. A piano and a dining room seating six give the shared rooms a residential scale. Its views encompass the Vltava, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and Malá Strana.

CottoCrudo anchors everyday dining with modern Italian cooking and an outdoor terrace beside the Vltava when the season allows. Breakfast, lunch and dinner keep it useful throughout a stay, though the terrace gives an evening meal a particular sense of place. Executive Chef Emilio Fernández Gómez leads the hotel's kitchen team. The restaurant's Italian identity leaves room for local and seasonal ingredients, so dinner need not feel detached from the city outside.

The menu gives equal attention to raw preparations and cooked dishes, as the name suggests. Yellowtail with olives and capers sits alongside pasta such as tagliolini with Sorrento lemon and mascarpone; aged Czech beef brings a regional ingredient to the main courses. These are examples of the kitchen's range rather than a fixed tasting sequence. A chocolate bábovka, the familiar Central European cake, carries that conversation between Italy and Prague into dessert.

CottoCrudo Bar works for a smaller meal or a drink before going out. Its cocktails draw on Czech ingredients and Italian aperitif traditions, with vermouth appearing prominently. The Upside Down Martini combines gin, thyme-infused vermouth and Muscat wine. That gives the bar its own identity beside the restaurant, rather than making it simply somewhere to wait for a table.

MIRU takes dinner to the rooftop in season, with just four tables overlooking the city's landmarks. The cooking follows Nikkei traditions, bringing Japanese techniques together with Peruvian ingredients under Japanese Executive Chef Toshikazu Kato and the Prague team. Sea bass with aji amarillo and lobster udon with jalapeño show that combination clearly. The latter brings a local connection through products made at Chateau Mcely.
