The Lodhi ethos is a simple and easy luxury. It is also an ethos of contrasts from the dynamic and vibrant atmosphere in the restaurants, courtyards, and public areas to the seclusion, peace, and club-like atmosphere of the eight floors of guest accommodation. The Lodhi epitomizes contemporary India culturally, and artistically with the changing art exhibitions, the food, the environment, the guests, and visitors and reflects tradition and history- the name, the location, the predecessors, the city, India! They offer comfort, warmth, recognition, smiles, and personal attention, discretely efficient with high service and commitment standards.
The Room & Suites
The Lodhi's 40 rooms and suites are located in an elegant ground plus an eight-story, two-winged building. The Hotel reflects a contemporary flair with extensive use of local materials. All rooms and suites have their own personal temperature-controlled plunge pool and extensive balconies. Furnished for comfort and ease, with king-size beds, upholstered sofas and chairs, desks, and ambient lighting. Each room has a combined bedroom and living area. Bathroom facilities include twin vanities, a shower, a bathtub, and a separate toilet. There is one two-bedroom suite and four rooms on each floor.
Dining
Several food and beverage outlets in The Lodhi, offer fresh, seasonal, and honest food in a warm and friendly environment. These include European, Indian, Chinese, and other Asian Menus. The concierge staff will happily make suggestions and bookings in the many Delhi restaurants with many different cuisines. 24-hour in-room dining is also available.
The Lodhi Spa
The four male and four female private treatment rooms each have a private shower, steam room, bathtub, vanity, and daybed in a serene and secluded destination on the Lower Ground Floor. The extensive spa and beauty menu pamper spa rituals drawing on India's wealth of therapeutic traditions and other international therapies. These include stretching, Thai, deep tissue, and sports massages. The Spa also features two traditional hammam steam areas where guests can rejuvenate with steam and pampering bath and body scrub rituals. Hair studios, facials, manicures, pedicures, threading, and waxing are also available. The Lodhi Spa uses both international and Indian brands for therapies and beauty treatments. The Recreation and Health Center features a Technogym with qualified professional instructors and personal trainers. A separate gym area offers TRX and other gym-related classes. Guests can also enjoy private or group classes for yoga or Pilates in the fully equipped studio. Adjacent to the spa is the 50-meter swimming pool, heated through the winter months. Other sports facilities include three tennis and two squash courts, with qualified and experienced markers available to play with.
Library & Cigar Lounge
The Library includes a wide selection of material on various subjects in several languages, from rare books on Delhi to historic and photographic works on the subcontinent.
